The beach is ok, pretty but not as beautiful as other Caribbean beaches I've been. However, I liked the fact that I was not harassed by vendors as it often happens in other beaches in Colombia. Also, the beach was not crowded despite the fact that it was at the peak of December holidays, so you have privacy and plenty of beach for ourselves

Covenas was such a great place to visit that I definitely recommend, there's a few places to visit (islands) not far that a tourist should go,just to mention; Tintitan island and Mucura Island. Round trip on a boat,lunch included to one of the mentioned islands .$80.000 pesos. ( $27.00 US) Highly recommended.JoseUnited States of America

We arrived late and they drove us to town so we could grab a meal and also picked us up.. So big plus for going out of their way for us. You can literally jump into the ocean for swim right outside the hotel. Compared to properties nearby it was good value although there are cheaper options towards city (pueblo). Tried the Italian pasta in their restaurant.. Big portions and fairly good taste.
