It was very clean and a very comfortable stay. No smell. They have a canoe and kayaks in the property for free use. They have gas bbqs, but we brought our own charcoal bbq. We sat near the lake while we watch the sunset. We also enjoyed the bonfire so much. It was a plus. I’d book this property again in the future.

We stayed two nights in Dwight, exploring the lakes on the area by jetski in the day. There are lots of lakes yo explore. All are really pretty. We would have liked to have had more time to paddle and swim. We went for a hike in the rain in Algonquin Park on our last partial day.

Dwight was lovely a quaint small Town had a pharmacy and a small grocery store. Had a LCBO, had an amazing bakery. Everything you need is there. So very close to Algonquin Park to have great adventures walking the many trails. Perfect location.

The view was great. Location was just right.
The view was great. Location was just right. The room had cob webs in the corners. The carpet was discussing. The cutlery was dirty. The room looked over used and kept up. The price is too high for what they offer. The Kayaks had water in them.
The garden and lake really make this hotel a cut above the average. Lovely, well kept, location to sit and relax, or barbecue, when not out exploring the neighbourhood. My son loved being able to take the supplied canoes out on the lake (even at night).
The family who run the hotel are helpful and friendly.
The room we had (twin and single bed) was a bit cramped but was clean and had everything we needed and in line with what I would expect for the price paid.
The cottage is small and simple, but has all essentials - comfortable beds, a kitchenette, lots of hot water for showers/baths and fast wifi. There is a grassy play area with swings at the front and Dwight beach is 1-2 mins walk. There is a bakery, general store, post office and gift shop within 5-10 mins walk. Algonquin provincial park with assorted hiking trails and opportunities for canoe trips is nearby (20-30 mins drive). Overall, a fantastic place to stay!
We prefer motels because we can park the motorcycles in front of the room. This also gives us quick and easy access to smoke outside. The owners have done a wonderful job maintaining the property. There are fire pits and bbqs available for guests to use. This is our second stay here this year with many more to come. I previously gave the motel an average review due to a mixup in rooms which was addressed immediately by the host. I will try to update that review.
Loved the sound of the Boyne River and rapids by our window and be able to explore it right on property. Loved the bonfire, lying on the split log bench, watching the shooting stars. Loved how convenient the location is, did some diving off the dock and up the sturdy stairs at Dwight Beach. Pharmacy, grocery store, bakery, food trucks, gift shops all so close. Canoed to Ragged Falls. Wonderful views hiking about 1/2 hr away in Algonquin Park.
Excellent location for anyone who wants to do a day trip to Algonquin Park.
The bed was very comfortable. A great place for a quiet retreat. The unit was clean, newly renovated and comfortable. There are free barbeques, comfy muskoka chairs, a horseshoe pit and basketball net with balls. There is nearby grocery store and restaurants.
Quaint accommodation, very clean and good choice for couple and families. Very helpful staff! Beach is small but offers good swimming and use of kayaks was a nice touch. Nearby Algonquin park and Dwight Beach are fantastic day trips. Be sure to visit Oxtongue Rapids about 10 min away.
After working 18 months since Covid hit, this was what we needed. Great location, great beach, priceless Dwight Bay view. Our cottage had a screened in porch which was the best. Huge king bed & very comfortable. Full kitchen. Covid protocols in place. Great BBQ. Staff were helpful.
The beach location is awesome, the property is short walking distance to grocery store and Coffee shop, Property purchase a couple of new canoe and added jet sky to rent. The BBQs were renewed, and parking lot is near by the properties
We loved that it was quiet and so close to a few of the hikes we wanted to do in Algonquin. Dan was an amazing host who went out of his way for us . We will be definitely booking again in the near future
The cabin was clean and the fireplace and view was great, so much better than a hotel room. I could have spent a few months there. I will be recommending to all my friends.
The location was great and the staff were very helpful. Liked having a cook top and fridge so we could bring our own food seeing there are very few restaurants near by
