I always enjoy staying at Leyre Monastery. Breakfast was good although evening meal not quite to taste this time. Beautiful views from the ancient stone building out over the lake. A very good room.

The room was very large, nicely furnished, and had a lovely view from two windows. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and large.

The Posada is in a great location, right in the centre of Sos del Rey Catolica. The bar at the posada is busy and atmospheric, used by locals as well as tourists. The guys that run the posada are very friendly and helpful. the food is good and the rooms are comfortable and clean.
you need to know the history of Javier and the relationship...
you need to know the history of Javier and the relationship with Japan, then you could have the motivation to visit, otherwise it's waste of the time, 20 minutes away SOS de Catololic is a much intersting and more beautiful to stay.
Location was very good. Roberto was excellent in looking after us. Clean rooms and nice bathroom. Parking was just outside. We struggled with the heatwave 40C and with no air conditioning or a fan it was very uncomfortable. We do realise though, that this location does not normally warrant air conditioning or a fan. We will return to experience the hotel when temperatures are at a better level.
The hotel had a lovely old-style charm with wooden floors, meeting rooms filled with opulent furnishings, and deep red carpeting. Wonderful atmosphere and just across the street from the castle. The breakfast buffet was fine: cheese, meats, cereal, croissants, orange juice, fruits, pan tostada, yogurt, and coffee - all for 9 euros. The price of the hotel was very reasonable.
We went to Javier for a pilgrimage, and for a rural area like Javier the hotel has exceeded our expectation. Newly renovated interior and it has a very clean and quiet room. Breakfast is modest but correct. Very friendly staff even if I spoke broken Spanish. Will definitely stay there again next time.
This is a fabulous hotel overlooking a castle. English spoken by Reception.Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed.
Lovely dining room serving good quality food. A really enjoyable stay.
