Once an Aragonese mansion, this hotel is located in the center of this charming Medieval town and has delightful interiors including a fantastic restaurant with a fine wine selection. This hotel is exceptional! An amazing building with stunning views. The hilltop village is amazing, with steep cobbled streets, several bars and restaurants. We ate at the hotel, and had an excellent dinner and breakfast. We would love to return one day. Value for money was outstanding.

Hotel Vinacua is set near the main entrance into Sos del Rey Católico, birthplace of King Ferdinand II (1452). Its stylish rooms include beautiful views and free Wi-Fi. Although it is not an old building in one of the lovely town centre streets, it is no more than a hundred yards from the edge of the old town and it is easy to park on the quiet street outside. The room was clean and comfortable and made a great base for a two-night stay. Walking in the hills can begin virtually by stepping out of the hotel. La Casa del Muro is set in the Medieval town of Sos del Rey Católico. It offers design apartments with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and a balcony with wonderful views. Wonderful stay. The apartment was much roomier than we had expected, with amazing views over the valley, spotlessly clean and very well equipped (although as veteran tea drinkers, we would have appreciated a water cooker or tea kettle). Sos is an absolutely delightful town, with two excellent restaurants, and lots to do around, including some really nice walks up into the mountains, or to nearby towns. We will definitely be returning.

The town is magical! Visit Sos del Rey Catolico if you are looking for culture, relax, and, perhaps, great food. There are plenty of accommodations for all budgets. Things to do: first of all relax, take it easy and enjoy the views. Book a walking tour at the tourism office to learn about town’s history and visit the 13th century’s frescos at the Church crypt. taje your car and meander the rest of the five villages from there.
We were passing through and stayed one night. Bearing in mind this is February and many things are not available, two nights would have been better. If you enjoy the countryside then walking would be super in the surrounding area. A longer stay would then be better.
Sos is a great place, a beautifully restored medieval hill top village. The tourist information office in the Palacio de los Sada (in which Ferninand of Aragon was born) organizes guided walkarounds (for a really small fee) which are very interesting.
This little Medieval town is like a time warp! It seems as If nothing much has changed for a thousand years! We decided to spend the night in Sos del Rey Católico to break up the drive between San Sebastian and Barcelona. There is not a ton to see or do, but for us it was a great, quiet road-trip stopover.
It was very interesting to wander the old alleyway streets and it was a special pleasure and privilege to meet and talk to the old guide in the church — we couldn’t really understand each other but his obvious love for the place and its wonderful ancient paintings transcended all language barriers. To cap the visit the food at the Cocina del Principal was superb.
We had a twin room with a balcony, which we absolutely loved. Our room was spacious and well-decorated, with a huge bathroom The parador was in an exceptional location, a beautiful old town in the mountains - you really felt like you'd gotten away from everything. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

The little town of Sos del Rey Catolico is well worth a visit: apart from the circumstance that king Ferdinand of Aragon happened to be born here, it is a wonderfully preserved (restored ) medieval hill town with great vistas at every turn, including from our hotel room window and balcony.
Great location just outside old town - 5 minute walk to sights and large free parking area at hotel. Comfortable bed and pillow. Quiet room. Hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. Beautiful view of old town from hotel/ perfect for photos.

The hotel has a friendly staff and a cozy place where to spend some time in this lovely town. It's located in a good location, near excellent places to eat and a few minutes away from the main attractions. The breakfast was great.
The hotel has a fantastic location, the breakfast was wonderful (and much better than anything you will get elsewhere in town for the price), and Maria Jose is very helpful and attentive.
Sos del Rey Católico
A very pretty & interesting village to stay in. The hotel was great value for money, small friendly all we could have asked for. Both dinner & breakfast were excellent
The hotel is very inviting and located in the centre of the village. The owner was welcoming, and we managed to overcome the language barrier.
