Bright and airy home with a lot of hunting trophies. The owners were very friendly. We arrived late with our dinner and the host provided use with a table setting. The breakfast was excellent. Nice quiet location basically in the woods.

We were there for a medical procedure and there was a snowstorm so it was a good place to be safely. We utilized the restaurant because it was close and the staff was very friendly there. We travel to Cranbrook often from Creston , but don't often stay overnight

Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race.
Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race. It was excellently organized with lovely volunteers. The trail from Cranbrook to Kimberley was perfect as was the entire race. In general the people of Cranbrook were friendly and kind.

The room wasn’t bad but very basic.
The room wasn’t bad but very basic. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast option was a disaster. A muffin, a juice box and a piece of fruit in a bag is NOT breakfast. The listing needs to change showing No Breakfast.

No complaints expect maybe the wifi could be better, beds were comfortable, kitchenette was more than we needed but very well stocked. Despite not looking like much from the outside our room was nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
Also The Heid Out/Fisher Peak Brewing was family friendly and had the best food by a long shot! Was worth a really long wait too!

Amazing views and superb building.
Amazing views and superb building. However, there is room for improvement considering the hotel facilities. Comparatively very expensive and no value for the money as there are no meals included in the booking. It is a great location for a photo shoot. However, I do not recommend it for accommodation purposes.

We stayed in the downtown area were there is a very large park - I think it’s the Rotary Park. We were there on a Saturday and they have live music and serve beer and coolers in part of the park. There are a number of restaurants and shops in the downtown area we stayed at. We stayed at the Baker Hotel which is an old brick hotel that is renovated. We ate at the Heid Out & Fisher Peak Brewing Company for dinner twice. We saw deer just walking around neighborhoods, which was really fun for us.
I booked last minute as I was making my way down to the border from Jasper. This hotel was very reasonably priced (even last minute at full occupancy), and my room had been remodeled fairly recently, so it was perfect. Staff were very friendly, and the outdoor pool looked really nice, though I didn’t have time to use it. I’m not a biker, but it’s definitely a biker friendly place, and I’ve found those are often pretty safe bets.
Small but clean room. I really liked having a fridge and microwave. Big paper cups I made cocoa in. (I brought my own). There is a chair in room, upgraded USB ports.
No cups by the sink. Pool inoperable. The TV didn’t swivel.
All staff super nice. Hotel was quiet. The A/C worked very well.
I’ll stay there again as I pass through.
Lovely property in a beautiful situation out of town. Very comfy beds and all the little extras one could wish for. Mirka & Dennis are delightful hosts- very interesting to chat to, but not at all intrusive.
Would definitely be our choice of accommodation if we return to Cranbrook.
Very clean. Very comfortable. The last of the true mom and pop motels. Good price and very clean.
I will definitely stay here again.
Friendly, clean and comfortable.
Perfect for an overnight.
So many beautiful hanging flowers. Lovely.
the hotel is in the process of rejuvenation and recreating the art deco era in which it was built. Very cool place and looking good. We were on the third floor which is still having some work (ie windows) but it was quite pleasant.
Numa restaurant was great and the service was amazing. The front desk staff in the hotel were also brilliant and loved spending time with us and playing with our fussy baby in the early hours of the morning. Truly great people.
This Best Western exceeded my expectations. It was well maintained, good value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful. A bonus was the small restaurant, The Modern Olive. The food was excellent.
Friendly owner, room very clean and tidy, great for our need passing through Cranbrook. Not a fancy looking place but great for a place to sleep along our journey.
