Our room overlooking the harbor was wonderful with a small deck on the 4th floor. We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the sail boats and people.

Very helpful staff. Very friendly . But my husband's surgery was more entailed so I had to extend my stay at a much higher rate! I finally slept in the hospital because I couldn't afford $700. for the same room. This was a crises in our family. No humanity from the hotel. Just type in computer & say that's the rate. I really expected more
He lived, I slept in a chair for 2 nights. Not feeling safe and comfortable in the hotel. I explained my situation, but no help from desk. The first few nights were wonderful. The tall darker skin raiders fan was amazing! I was very dissapointed when I need to stay longer, husband fighting to live. I thought your hotel would at least help . No I had to pay 3x the amount for the same room. Where's your customer service?

We loved the lobby, the outside garden, playroom, bottomless coffee at the lobby, kids (and adults) enjoyed the s’mores. Staff were super helpful and responding very fast. Rooms were clean and quiet, although the windows were facing the street.

We visited Sausalito Sunday and Monday during spring break.
We visited Sausalito Sunday and Monday during spring break. Sausalito is full of live, people shopping, walking around. However, only after 11-12. In the morning everything is closed... no one on the streets. We were wondering where everyone was.

Wonderful place to stay!
Wonderful place to stay! Planned on going to the city however never got there. Spent a lot of time at Ft. Baker, another nice place!
Always go to Spinacker for dinner, really disappointing, like a cafeteria now. No intimate dining anymore, too congested and rush you in and out. sad

You must bring and prepare all your own meals. Be advised! Continental breakfast is falsely advertised. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Everyone I came in contact with was incredibly friendly. Vibe + energy was killer! Reasonable rates and clean rooms!

This small town will capture your heart and make you want to stay. We went to see what the Otis Redding song was about and could see straight away why the place was inspirational. The light changing over the San Francisco skyline at any time of day means you can get lost in the sunshine, dream on, and eat in the most idyllic settings. The ferry trip over via Triburon and Angel Island sets the scene and leads into a relaxing stay.

Very quaint relaxing, clean and a stark contrast to across the bay. Sausalito is an artsy town with lovely shops and easy access to the freeway Golden Gate bridge and the ferrys that will take you to San Francisco Oakland or Tiburon. There is not a bad view from the city.
We loved the location... steps away from the ferry to SF, which we utilized often, short distance to the GGB viewpoints and walking entrance, as well as Muir Woods. The hotel location is town centered to shops and restaurants, all in walking distance as well as the access to the waterfront.
The beds were comfortable and the hotel extremely clean!
We checked in at 5:20 pm into our hotel room and had to run to a beautiful wedding at the same hotel at 5:30. I paid 400 dollars for a King room. The room was large, clean, nicely furnished. The wedding venue was spectacular and the food amazing! All guests raved about stunning views of their hotel rooms....
lovely, homely property, like staying in a large, old cottage. room was roomy, super comfortable and well appointed. also only a short stroll from all the shops and cafes along the waterfront. location of Sausalito so close to San Francisco, but more like a vacation spot was terrific.
We enjoyed the historic aspect of the hotel and the historic location of it. Liked the proximity to the town's restaurants and shopping. Liked the energy of the town and walkability. Liked the window seating with nice view of bay and park.
Pretty tile and stained glass in bathroom.
The room for handicapped was excellent; much better equipped than similar rooms in more expensive hotels where I’ve stayed. It even includes a fold-down cedar bench in the walk-shower. The hotel also is a short and comfortable walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Sausalito.
The location was great; close to downtown San Francisco and Sausalito. Wonderful location to get a captivating view of Golden Gate Bridge. The Cavallo Point itself is a peaceful, scenic place. Great to stroll and get a good rest and still very close to every touristy places.
Location was great. Room was great and wide, the bed is comfortable and all is very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All around is plenty o restaurants and shops so you just go out and can enjoy a nice walk through Sausalito.
Great room overlooking the bay
Comfortable and spacious the bathroom was huge
Room was very clean which was nice
The hotel is well located with plenty of bars & restaurants nearby
Concierge / bell boys were great
Location and parking are perfect. The hotel is old fashioned but lovely, the rooms are a good size and some of them have little outside areas to sit.
There is a lovely communal room to sit in as well.
Perfect location to explore Sausalito and San Francisco. All local restaurants, cafes, shops and bars are near by and right next to the ferry to San Francisco. Hotel was very clean and comfortable.
I loved my room — especially the balcony and soaking tub. The staff was great and the hotel is conveniently located next to waterfront restaurants, shops, activities, etc. We can’t wait to go back.
Location was great. Its a very quaint place and seems more like a bed and breakfast. than a hotel. But in this case its just a bed since they no longer do breakfast.
