Hotel 850 SVB West Hollywood at Beverly Hills

Hotel in West Hollywood, Los Angeles

Located in Los Angeles, within 1.1 miles of Sunset Strip and 2.4 miles of Petersen Automotive Museum, Hotel 850 SVB West Hollywood at Beverly Hills has accommodations with a shared lounge and free... This botique hotel is a gem! They say it is all about location well this hotel is location plus alot more.I will start with the location which is just off Santa Monica Boulevarde. All the West Hollywood action is just around the corner with lots of pubs, bars and resturants. We walked to Rodeo Drive through the beautiful Hollywood Gardens. We used alot of ubers and with this hotel being just off a main road pick up and drop off were easy with valet parking right outside. We even caught a bus to Santa Monica beach for a total of $7.00 return. The dinner at the Pump Restuarant which is also within walking distance was magical. The hotel facilities are excellent with a continental breakfast and a "drop in" kitchen if you want a coffee or snack during the day. The roof top terrace was wonderful. We used it alot and sat there looking out over LA with a coffee or sunset drinks! There is no inhouse restuarant or bar but this suited us as there are many places to explore in West Hollywood. We would definitely stay here again.

We really have to give it up to Robert and his great customer service. Overall experience was a 10, also the closeness to Universal Studios is great, we decided to walk and was no more than a 10 minute walk. We will stay here again for sure when returning to LA.

FAQs about hotels in Los Angeles

City of Angels

Exploring Los Angeles, the place where movies are made, you feel like you’re in a dream. Santa Monica Pier is the end point of the fabled Route 66, while just south is bohemian Venice Beach, lined by tall, swaying palms. Go slightly inland from the boardwalk to catch a glimpse of the canals that earned the area its name.

Head north to the golden beach and stunning scenery of Malibu and see why movie stars over the decades have settled here. Also popular with the rich and famous are Bel Air and Beverly Hills, home to exclusive Rodeo Drive.

And the reason for all this glitz and glamour? Hollywood, of course! Sitting high on a hill, the iconic sign is visible for miles around, while below the gold stars on Hollywood Boulevard immortalize celebrities of past and present. Be there on premiere night to see them grace the red carpet of Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

Over the hill is Universal Studios, with behind-the-scenes tours as well as rides. Next door are the Warner Brothers Studios, and Paramount Studios are closer to Downtown LA.

Whether you decide to live like a star in a luxury LA hotel or choose a cheap motel through Booking.com, it’s worth renting a car to get around this sprawling city and out to Los Angeles Airport (LAX).
