For a big city with pricey hotels, Best Western was an excellent choice, the value for money was fantastic at its standard. The breakfast was fantastic every morning as it was a small buffet with a lovely lady giving me and my friends a plate of food of our choice. The Beds were super cozy and its located near some good stores, gas stations and food chains with a Dennys out front.

Los Angeles is huge city. Moving from one place to another is difficult and the traffic jams are terrible. If you are in LA for a longer time, it is good to stay in two areas. There is lots of homeless in LA maybe everywhere! Summer time I recommend nice and clean beach area like Manhattan Beach for families.
Unlike Vegas, Los Angeles is not the city that never sleeps, but there are an abundance of things to do and see, ranging from sight-seeing, fine dining, museums, and amusement parks to tourist attractions, and the weather is almost always a blessing. Brace yourself, though, for long stretches of driving between whatever events you've planned. It's good, when all is said and done, to be able to dust the high cost of living, crowded conditions, and smog-ridden air off the bottoms of your boots on the way out the door. The LA County Museum of Art and the La Brea Tar Pits remain two of my favorite places to see in the city.
Very friendly people. Hollywood Blvd & Beverly Mall are my favorites. Forest Lawn in Glendale has some great things. Self Realization Fellowship's Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades is a Spiritual Pilgrimage. A real amphitheater. One must see to know what an amphitheater is. Hollywood's Studio District is still busy with movies/TV Serials productions. Pacific Coast Highway is surpassingly beautiful with brimming sceneries !
I love Los Angeles. I stayed downtown Los Angeles for a meeting and then moved to West Hollywood to vacation. First of all I loved the weather while there, the sites, getting around was convenient, and I feel safe in Los Angeles and West Hollywood.
I like the design , architecture and art museums . You have to search but they are smaller art museums and architecture house to visit like Neutra VDL or the Schindler House. I love the cafe destroyer.
Los Angeles is a multicultural city where you can experiance diferent cultures and their culinary art. It has also Hollywood and the art of cinematography, beautiful beaches, nice park and mountains at north where you can have a nice hike.
This is a comfy hotel in a super convenient location. We have stayed here before and we believe that they have done some renovation since then. The room had two queen beds, TV, refrig, table, dresser. Staff are helpful and buffet breakfast is adequate with friendly attendants. Best part is the location just 500 m from Union Station and also from Chinatown station of the Metro Gold line. Olvera Street is just across the road and we used the DASH buses to explore downtown. Don't miss Grand Central Market. Until next time in DTLA!
Santa Monica, Los Angeles
Great value (cheapest hotel in the area I could find), rooms are actually pretty nice and spacious with a comfortable bed, a chair, and desk. Hot water, and clean. Tap water is fine. Quiet. Decent amount of sunlight. I liked the room. Outside has the standard motel aesthetic/vibe. Location although not exciting in the immediate vicinity is convenient, with some restaurants and a grocery store nearby, and a 20 minute walk to the Santa Monica promenade pedestrian street where all the action is,
A very nice hotel with big rooms, a swimming pool and a spa. Our room was big with a massive TV and refrigerator. The beds were very comfy. The location is close to the LAX airport and far from Downtown Los Angeles. That’s wasn’t an issue for us as we rented a car from nearby the airport. The staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast that was served was excellent. And there are plenty of shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay and we definitely would stay over again.
Its the best location in West Hollywood, just behind the viper rooms and across from Whiskey A Go Go. Very high standard with a great roof top pool. and view of Hollywood hills opposite. Full of movie and music types. Two Netflix launch parties took place in our brief stay. Nice breakfast, oh, and the bed was very comfortable. As a guide limo from the airport was $120 which the hotel organised - the driver was great too.
being so close to the airport was a huge plus, no battling traffic from downtown, just hopped on the free shuttle. All staff were super helpful and polite. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Loved the hotel store - great for picking up midnight snacks & treats or anything you may have forgotten to pack, was amazed the prices were reasonable. Having a coffee shop and subway attached to the hotel was a bonus.
Downtown LA, Los Angeles
I loved the price! Considering how cheap it is in the CENTER of downtown LA, I really have no complaints. The rooms were clean, I had a nice view, the beds were comfortable and the little lamp in each bunk is great. Everyone gets a little cabinet to put their luggage and stuff in. The staff was very helpful with the super easy self-check in. The little lobby area is very nice as well.
Los Angeles
– Amazing owner and staff: always helpful, giving good advise where to go in LA, making place comfortable to live and trying their best. I also got a tour around the hostel – provided towels, linen/sheets – area is a hub to go anywhere(downtown, Hollywood or the beach) – huge backyard I am thankful for staff and roommates I had!
Boutique hotel (music-themed) with an excellent location in West Hollywood (Sunset Strip), close to Beverly Hills. Great design (we stayed in one of the suits), and the rooftop pool - with a great view - and tennis court are real eye catchers. Hotel has its own parking facilities, which is a must in Los Angeles. Very friendly staff.
I am usually a buy the cheapest hotel I can find kind of person and although I did think it was a bit pricey, it was so worth the safety and cleanliness I felt. the staff was great, awesome location, very clean room. I think it’s the best deal you’re going to get in that area. would stay here again!
The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. It can be reached with their shuttle, which is free and easy to spot when it passes by the departure area of LAX. The room was very large and had all we needed: modern design and a large comfortable bed. Considering LA prices, it is fairly cheap.
American hotel matches the perfect location for getting to know the district arts of downtown LA but is far away from the beaches or other famous must-see locations like berverly hills or hollywood. Would reccomend for its price but not for the quality. Also would reccomend for short cheap stays.
I loved the old but well-maintained feel of this hotel. The location is excellent, close to downtown, Universal Studios and walking distance to K-town for so many delicious foods! The staff here are so friendly and do their best to accomodate your needs. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Los Angeles
Nice location, not too far by car from anywhere, Hollywood, downtown LA, Venice Beach. Very friendly manager who has a vast knowledge of the area, and very helpful in giving advise, best routes, parking areas, etc. I would definitely stay here again if ever back in LA.
The location was great, in the middle of downtown so there was a lot to do within walking distance. The coffee. and cock tails I ordered at the hotel were really delightful. The entire lounge area was really. cool to hang out in and spend time enjoying.
Downtown LA, Los Angeles
It close to Dwontown Los Angeles and other stores. And not in a big crime area so walking around the immediate area should not be much of a problem. Also the hotel is cheap so a plus
after staying in 5 different hotels during my stay in Los Angeles this place was the best for the money i paid. I will be coming back soon again!
Women on reception super kind and helpful. Cheapest hotel in Venice Beach/Santa Monica area, so I guess you get what you pay for.
