The Beverly Hills Hotel - Dorchester Collection, The Metric - Los Angeles Downtown, and The Charlie West Hollywood are some of the popular hotels in Los Angeles.
These hotels in Los Angeles are highly rated by couples: STAY OPEN Venice Beach, The Beverly Hills Hotel - Dorchester Collection, and The Charlie West Hollywood.

For hotels in Los Angeles that serve highly-rated breakfasts, try The Shay, a Destination by Hyatt, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, and Luskin Hotel.
Many families visiting Los Angeles loved staying at STAY OPEN Venice Beach, The Metric - Los Angeles Downtown, and Hotel 850 SVB West Hollywood at Beverly Hills.
The hotel should be reported to the health department for violating cleanliness standards. They get a ZERO from me and my wife. They should be audited by the health department. The sheets in te bed were not changed and very gooey both on the sheets and on the furniture, I had the night manager Evelyn and Anthony(Food and beverage) come to our room and see how horrible they are. The Hyatt Regency should be hut down for an audit. They will not pass especially during Covid-19 still being around. I am disgusted.
Los Angeles itself is too huge to comrehend. We spent our time in Venice, Santa monica and Hollywood. The beach is incredible. No commuter traffic so you need a car. Driving here is hard so be safe on the roads.
I live 2 1/2 hours away so I know that I can drive up at any time. My favorite places are museums - The Getty being number one. If you like amusement places - you have such a large choice. Beach - huge stretches of them - park on the street to make it cheaper and use a wagon to bring stuff to the sand. If you want to just look at mansions, drive on most streets in Beverly Hills - I loved Beverly Drive. If you like to drive, try Mulholland Drive for lovely scenery. This trip I chose to just indulge in food in areas I would not normally have (Santa Monica Blvd in SilverLake and Rodeo Drive area). If you like a home-made ordinary meal try Cantor's Restaurant and then get their home-baked cookies to go. And of course, if you like fashion there are 2 places to go to: Fashion District and of course Rodeo Drive.
Noisy, lots of traffic, hard to get anywhere. We used uber. San Diego is nice town, very nice walk by the ocean, good restaurants. Was a little disappointed with Rodeo Drive and Hollywood blvd. At night in LA is too dark, not enough light. The main feeling - this is one of the big cities, has no "point" to go there. Solvang is amazing place, but keep in mind that it is too far from LA - took us about 3 hours to get there. And all stores close at 5 pm. Need to stay there at least a night to be able to see all interesting places.
The weather was great. Can't complain about 82 degrees during the day and low 70's during the evening. The traffic is a nightmare. The only time I didn't run into traffic was at 4:00 a.m. The plight of the homeless was overwhelming. Everywhere we went there were tents lined up on the sides of roads with people either sitting in front of them or sleeping inside. We even saw people sleeping on the sidewalk. There are a lot of great places to eat. Highly recommend, And Waffle, The Coffee Company, and if you are feeling fancy, Yamashiro!! This place is beautiful, the view is beautiful and the food is great. Venice Beach was pretty nice and Rodeo Drive was incredible. The fashion district is great as well.
I live in Los Angeles, so this trip was a staycation for us. There are ways to do LA right & there are ways you might experience LA and not want to return. A good start is choosing a hotel like Shutters on the Beach & just decide to stay put. Ocean breeze, sunsets, excellent luxury accommodations and weather you can almost bet on.
I loved everything about this hotel, this was our ‘splurge’ of the trip as we stayed in 3 different hotels throughout our 2 week holiday and this was by far the best and might be my favourite hotel in general. The room was spacious, light and comfortable and the bed was very cosy. I added a note to my booking to say this trip was to celebrate a special birthday and upon check in was given 2 drinks vouchers and on the night reception called to ask what drinks we would like to celebrate, lovely and personable touch. Loved the pool area also.
The best thing about this iconic hotel is the staff. The people at the reception (esp Errie) and at the breakfast area were warm, friendly and really helpful. We had booked for a day, but ended up staying for 3 nights, and we loved coming back to the hotel at the end of the day. The location is right in the heart of LA downtown. Lots of eateries around. Lots of shopping around. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Because of their gym facilities, the hotel reception was always buzzing with people.
Location is very central to key areas like downtown, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Definitely you need a car should you aim to visit all as this would be an ideal option cost-wise and convenience wise. As the case in many hotels I have visited in USA breakfast was fair but incomparable with what we have in Middle East for star rated hotels where large buffet is serviced in all. The hotel, room and bathroom are all clean and the bed was comfy
All the staff, (valet parking, front reception, Matt in the bar and even the cleaning staff), made this head and shoulders the best hotel I stayed in during my visit to California. The hotel is well positioned for nearby attractions and the overall decor, quality of the building, fast wifi and the nice sized pool made it a no brainer to book another night and extend our stay here. Thanks very much, Paul
They did a great job at the hotel it looks really nice and new, the closed terrace areas outside are very nice and cosy. The breakfast was the best one we had the pancake machine deserves a special mention. Walking distance (10 minutes) to a nice local area with good restaurants (Il Forno was our choice) and we took the big blue bus (BBB) to Santa Monica Beach (around 15 minutes).
The hotel is situated in an area from where is easy to reach the most popular LA location including hollywood , beverly hills , as well as the main beaches . Super clean and comfortable with daily house keeping , you can have free access to the swimming pool and the gym . Staff nice and helpful , we did book it for 2 times when we come back to LA
Location was good and there is quite a lot of homelessness around and you can avoid that but it is nearby and obviously is sad. Some great restaurants up around Hollywood Bvd, so only a 10 minute walk away. Hotel pool wonderful and central lounge area beautifully landscaped with rattan ice machine and coffee machine were great. Staff lovely.
Brand new hotel, great staff in downtown location with nice gym and comfort lobby area to work. Very close (2 min walk) to Pershing Square Station for direct metro link to Hollywood. No parking in the hotel but plenty of parking available outside (two lots outside the Hotel building) ranging from $12 - $ 24 per night
Room size was small but not unique for a "boutique" hotel in downtown L.A. The best hat rack display anywhere. Didn't love the dinner menu so we skipped. The bar/restaurant seemed properly staffed (4-6) but we waited for quite a while to get two (2) drinks in the bar area after 7:30 PM.
The location is fantastic. The hotel is located in Marina Del Rey (a great area), just a few meters from Venice Beach. This region is very good for strolling, walking along the beach and enjoying the vibe of Los Angeles.
The location of the hotel is very close to the attractions in Downtown, LA. The room size is good. There are lots of cheap parking places around so you don't have to pay for the vale.
Hotel is located in Koreatown and in close proximity to multiple bus lines. The staff was great and our room even had a view of Downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign. Good place.
The room was larger and more stylish than other La Quinta hotels near airports that we have stayed at. The staff we helpful, and we were able to arrange a very late check out.
Great location in the middle of the new Downtown. Next to shopping area. Clean and good quality hotel
