We had a villa with view of the harbor, which I would definitely recommend. I purposefully did NOT want pool view because of the noise level. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the place and the laundry and dryer in the apartment. We were told it was too far to walk to the beach, but then learned the beach was only a few minutes by foot. Unfortunately the weather turned bad just as we arrived and therefore we explored other parts of PR and used the apartment as a hub for day trips.

This was beachfront as advertised. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, watching the sunrise and listening to the surf. The property was comfortable and welcoming.

Nice neighborhood, easy to find, clean, well appointed kitchen, well maintained, good value. Easy to get in and out off street parking. Host was very helpful with instructions for the tv, etc and recommendations for local dining and shopping. Air conditioning worked well. T-Mobile had good coverage.

Cindy was a welcoming host and was interesting to talk to. She speaks english fluently which was a relief. The apartment had a deck side-facing the beach so was a pleasant place to sit and birdwatch while my partner slept in. The beach was wild and wonderful and had very few people on it. It is adjacent to a wildlife refuge that we probably could have walked to on the beach if we had realized its proximity. The refuge was a short drive, free and a good place to walk and bird watch. There is a kayak company that takes folks out within the refuge that we would like to do next time. There were a few restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store with limited produce. We found the people of the town were friendly given our lack of spanish skills and the fact that this town is not on the tourist loop. We found that most everyone spoke spanish so we did our best. The town itself appears to have had a hard time with the hurricane 7 years ago with quite a few abandoned homes. Even so, we are thinking of returning now that we are familiar with the area and know what to do.

It was clean, cozy (Hence the name), affordable and the location awesome. There are restaurants all over and the people are so welcoming and kind. I Definitely recommend it.
I dont like the location but it was beautiful. There was nothing but the beach within walking distance and driving was nerve wrecking. I wouldn't stay at this location again. It is not easy to get around or get to without using toll roads. Im usually flexible and low maintenance with my requirements but the anticipation discomforts outweighed the comforts. Its about an hour or more away from excursions too. Get back before dark or the drive with drive you crazy, unless you dont mind the tight corners and cliffs.

We couldn't use - get - walk to the Beach. there was not way to walk to it. the Hotel should have made a 'walk way' to get to the beach. The restaurant is only open for certain hours in the day. The bed were not what I expected - the room too small for the price. The site is very nice; the pool too warm.

I love the relaxing atmosphere, The Pool was awesome and the view of the Los Pinos beach was great waking up to.
I did not get a chance to try the onsite restaurant! My fault.
There are plenty of places to eat!

This hotel was alright.
This hotel was alright. The pool was really nice and it had a nice view of the ocean. The room was as advertised and clean. However, the bathroom sink was warped, which was really annoying because we could not put things there because things would slide off. We also paid for breakfast for 3 nights but could only use the breakfast for one of the nights because of their limited breakfast hours, we had to leave by 7:30 but their breakfast didn't start until 8. And the wifi didn't work for us in our room or the main areas of the hotel. The TV selection was pretty awful, but this wouldn't have been an issue if the wifi worked. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.
This is a great property with a private beach and nice grounds. You can take a small stroll around the property or the beach (which is dirty due to the algae bloom) . The infinity pool is defnly an attraction for this property. The restaurant is tropical themed and good size. The included breakfast is made to order and served hot unlike self serve in some 3 star hotels. Wait staff are nice and most of them are bilingual. Remember, its not a resort. If you go with right expectations, you will be happy.
Loved our room, a bungalow with terrace and chairs looking towards the sea. Good restaurant, breakfast and evening meals, especially breaded prawns in coconut sauce! We also ate at restaurant across the road which we enjoyed too. The pool was wonderful with great sunbeds. Sound of the waves splashing onto the shore! From the hotel there is an amazing nature walk adjacent to the shore leading up to the lighthouse, where there are great views in both direction. Very few people seem to find this!
This was our fifth trip to Puerto Rico to see family and we always stay at Parador Maunacaribe. Our last trip was 4 years ago, prior to COVID and we were excited to return this year. We again stayed at the hotel and it was as always, an excellent experience. Staff is attentive and friendly and professional. Clean room. Quiet and peaceful. Food is very good! We LOVE it here!
Perfect locations for someone with a vehicle. Quiet, friendly, low key. No crazy artificial "fun" place, nice for families, elderly people, couples that do not seek entertainment. While we did not use it, the hotel has a beautiful pool. The apartments are like individual habanas with all basic necessities. Decent reastaurants in walking distance.
The staff was super friendly, which makes all the difference when your traveling with a 1 year old. Breakfast was delicious! The view of our room was amazing, the beach was within 6 feet from our room door! It is a boutique hotel, has mom and pop family vibe which I absolutely loved.
Well worth the price we paid!
This is a great hotel for getting away for a bit. The staff is super friendly, the pool is great and the facilities were super clean. Would definitely go back. The restaurant is great considering not a lot of food options outside of the hotel so take advantage of the restaurant inside the hotel.
Nice little hotel, quiet and clean with a nice pool. Ate in the restaurant for breakfast which was nice, and had one evening meal there too which was also good. Location was good, next to some other good restaurants and a beach although the sea was very rough
Very friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful swimming pool. Restaurant and bar near pool were very nice. Overall a good location and nice place to use a s a base to explore south/southeastern Puerto Rico.
Very clean, friendly and courteous staff, beautiful location, private porch, and the many amenities of the hotel (beach front, pool, onsite restaurant, etc).
My husband and I had a great time at this hotel! Great views, awesome food and drinks from the restaurant, and we felt it was a good value for the price.
