Nendaz is not the best location to access the 4 Vallees ski area and depends on one run, which was in poor condition. The alternative bus to Siviez is not especially regular and takes a fair bit of time. The new lift back via Plan de Fou is a much better return option. The skiing in the Nendaz sector is best for beginners and more advanced intermediates and not especially suitable for progressive skiers with few long runs.

Nendaz is nicely situated in the center of 4 Vallées ski-area so one can go anywhere and see everything in a week, although we hope to stay once for 2 weeks. Not too big village, but big enough to have everything one may need. And a spectacular view down to Rhone valley and up to the mountains on both sides of the valley.

Nendaz is down to earth family-friendly station with easy access to a great variety of slopes in the 4 vallées. It is a great place for skiing, less so for after-ski or for partying. Prices are more or less at the standard Swiss level, Nendaz is not cheap but not a rip-off either. Nendaz is more relaxed and friendlier than its posh neighbor Verbier, and access from Sion is easy either by car or by bus.

This is relatively small town high in the Alps with breathtaking views from just about anywhere. The people are friendly and helpful and prices at the restaurants are very reasonable for Switzerland. I went for the Alphorn competition and folkloric festival and the parade and it was an experience I will never forget.
Amazing location (50 meters of ski lifts). amazing facilities for a 3 star hotel (spa, breakfast, ski lockers, bar and restaurant). The staff is so helpful and nice which makes your stay even nicer. The room is spacious and the beds incredible comfortable.
the menu for the afterski is a must since it offers tasty food which makes one want to stay in the terrace. Definitely a value for money for Swiss standards and a place to come back to. The check in took 1 minute and I got my key on my mobile.
This is an excellent apartment for two people. Located on a bus stop to Sion train station and a ski bus stop to go to Siviez, where we started skiing most days. Or a 7 min walk to the gondola in Nendaz.
The kitchen is well equipped and the decor is lovely. A highlight that you don't see from the reviews or listing is the very large balcony, with table, chairs and deckchairs. In early march the balcony got great sun until 16:45, so it was a fantastic place to drink a beer after skiing.
The staff was very nice and they allowed us to leave the car in their parking lot the last day, and they helped out with some practical problems.
Location of the hotel Edelweiss is perfect. It is in front of the cabin to go to ski. So once you arrive in Nendaz you can do everything on foot.
If you like after ski the hotel Edelweiss is one of the best places for it when you finish your day on the slopes.
The cleanliness of the common shower.
We had a very nice stay at Hameau les Clèves. The staff is super friendly and on request created us a vegan dinner and offered vegan breakfast options and it was super delicious.
The restaurant has a great view over the Rhone valley and is super comfortable.
Our cozy bedroom in the main house was very clean and had a comfortable bed.
Directly located at the ski piste which goes straight to Nendaz (station) surrounded by charming chalets.
Cosy place overall, pleasant location in the heights and away from the large buildings and traffic of the center of Haute-Nendaz, great food at the restaurant, cozy dining room with fantastic panoramic view over the Alps across the Rhone Valley, breakfast simple but good, good coffee and delicious freshly prepared orange juice, attentive staff, small TV room with sofa.
The apartment is very well furnished, especially what the kitchen equipment is concerned, and no need to bring spices and stuff. Very helpful! We had a sunny week, and the view over the Wallis valley was fantastic. Communication with the host and the local janitor are excellent, all easy going. Very much recommend the place for a group of up to 4 people.
Our stay was perfect! The chalet is really beautiful and decorated with style. The view is amazing and it is located 15 min walking from Nendaz center. The owners provided all information we needed and compared to a lot of other hotels/chalet in Nendaz this is the best we tried so far. Really recommended!
Fantastic views from any of three balconies! Just amazing. Could just sit and watch the valley in hours. Great with access to the pool and sauna (need a reservation, costs about 15 franks for 50 min). Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Close to the city center and ski lifts
Beautiful modern apartment in the Haute-Nendaz, close to everything, with an exceptional view. It was perfect for a big family with a dog. Unexpected small garden at the 4th floor. Well equipped kitchen.
The location was nice, right in the middle of Nendaz. There's a great Italian restaurant in the ground floor of the building. And the room itself was clean and recently renovated with a nice coffeemaker.
The location of the hotel is just perfect . The team was extremely kind and helpful the spa is really great , the food is excellent; simple, delicious and healthy
