Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. The room is comfort, clean and spacious with nice Matterhorn view from both window and balcony. The heating is sufficient for the cold nights. The bedding and mattress are both comfortable. Bath room is big and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing us with local information and helped us to book restaurants. Options for breakfast is good. Afternoon tea is provided in the kitchen area for free. The hotel is 3 minutes away on foot from the train station which is super convenient. There is also a Coop supermarket around the corner. Overall, it is very good stay and experience in Hotel Garni Testa Grigia.

It offers a lounge with an area for playing and a fireplace.... The property is clean, big, and well maintained. The kitchen is well equiped. You can find anything you need to cook. All the rooms in Carina has a balcony with Matterhorn mountain view but it’s a shame that Matterhorn is hiding during our stay. I also want to give a special mention to Lucas, the hotel director. He was so welcoming and give us a lot of omplimentary. Thanks for the hospitality

Best staff ever. They really went out of their way to make my stay special and were brimming with genuine warmth - every single person I interacted with. I had a constant smile on my face and that is particularly due to the incredible staff. Both in Tradition Julen and Hotel Alpenhof (which has a spa you cannot miss out on). The location is close to the town center and there is a shuttle to/from the train station + sister hotel. The restaurant is phenomenal as well as the breakfast. So many little details that made this a truly unique experience like offering me a discount and a drink voucher when I extended my stay, giving tips about getting around the mountain, and somehow always finding chocolate in my room (sometimes even hand-delivered). What an absolute delight, and an experience I will hold onto for a long time.

This is a classic, refined, old-school hotel with comfortable facilities and restaurants. The staff were very friendly to me. The breakfast was great! A lot of selection, many servers, options, good coffee.. the bar had a big selection of cocktails. The pool is lovely. I had a room in the attic that had a lot of character. I especially enjoyed the view and the whirlpool bathtub!

We loved the breath taking mountain views from every window, the sunny après-ski outside terrace and meals in the restaurant. The spa treatments were also very relaxing. Spectacular area, lovely slopes and snow shoe tracks...a wonderful stay all round. We will be back.
