Excellent service and kind and helpfull staff. | Very good breakfast. | The room was very nice and soundproof (including the door). | Well designed interiors. | Shuttle available for short trips around the hotel (restaurant, parking), since Saas-Fee is a car-free village. | The famous Matterhorn is about two hours away - drive to Tasch, take the train to Zermat, then the cog-wheel train to Gornergrat platform. | Many ski lifts and the Alpin Express gondolas take you to fantastic views of the Alps.

Overall - great place, absolutely in the list to come back! But we would like to specifically admit a few points. First, friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to amazing Anna, who made our stay warm and comfortable, introducing the hotel and facilities and sharing a lot of great tips about the places to visit❤️! Greg and Philip (sorry guys if I spelled your names wrong) are also just great, respectful, and helpful🔥. Second, we really enjoyed breakfasts and dinner. Food is just delicious and, more importantly, focused on healthy selections! You could appreciate balanced and delicious meals with a lot of gluten free options, all served warmly and aesthetically pleasing ❤️. Finally, the overall atmosphere is really relaxing and quiet, just exactly what we needed after hectic working days, with private sauna after hiking and beautiful mountains views from our balcony.
Only a 3-minute walk from the ski slopes, the centrally located Hotel Christiania in Saas-Fee offers free WiFi. Guests can start their day with a rich breakfast buffet with service as well.

Honestly, the staff is what makes this hotel, particularly the manager Ana and her employee Alexandra. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is also excellent, right across from the town’s longest cable car (the one that goes to the alpine metro ski train) and the short alpine slide track. Breakfast was good though items aren’t always replenished if you come later in the morning. The croissants are baked fresh! The views are stunning, especially from rooms that end in 1, 2, or 3 on higher floors. Because the hotel has a volleyball field, there is no building immediately in front of it to block the views of the Fee glacier from these rooms. We liked that the elevator is glass so you could enjoy the mountain views on the way to your room. Would easily stay there again, and again, and again….

This was a charming town, which can be reached by bus from the train station at Interlochen. It was less crowded than other Swiss towns we visited, and we liked the non-touristy atmosphere. We took numerous gondola rides to the tops of high peaks, including Schilthorn, which took us up to glaciers. There's also a gondola ride right in town that took us to a beautiful view and an excellent playground for young children. We traveled by bus to Lake Mattmark (largest earth dam in Europe) where we saw a beautiful lake and many waterfalls. The town itself boasts many restaurants and shops. My favorite shop was Bergluft, in the center of town beside the modern Catholic church, where I bought numerous handmade gifts.

Saas Fee is a wonderful small village at the bottom of various 4000m Peaks. There is so much to do, as much in the summer as in winter. The village has everything plus a wonderful bonus: car free! It is clean, very well organized, very friendly people...just a wonderful place!

Overall excellent but did not find the piste marking / maps adequate. As a result it took some time to work the area out. I also feel the village could improve their website and the number and arrangement of webcams. It is way more beautiful than these show

Great 5 star Wellness, located near Hostel 4000, do not miss it. Highly recommended.
The single room was really superb. It could have easily fit a double bed, it was very spacious with a fixed seating sofa, wardrobe, desk, and nice lighting and decor. The shower was basic but very good. Breakfast was terrific in this hotel, with a great choice of bread and hot scrambled eggs and bacon as well as a very good coffee machine. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I ended up coming back to stay a second night.
The apartment was five star, recently redecorated and nothing missing during our stay. 5-10 minutes walk to the City's car park, supermarket, bus station, and cable car. Saas-Fee is peaceful destitation (never met crowd or queue) in the summer for hiking and skiing (yes skiing in summer above 3500 meter!).
The local taxes includes unlimited Postbus and cable car usage in Saastal. Marmots everywhere on the hills :)
This is an outstanding hotel. From arrival to departure the experience was superb.
The hotel, facilities, room, turndown service and the care that went with it was impressive.
Dinner - food very high quality and service to match.
The presence of the hotel GM was notable and his genuine interest in our stay was appreciated.
