Grounds looked excellent. The lobby very clean and set up nice.

This is a beautiful little town with great places to shop...
This is a beautiful little town with great places to shop and eat. Has a very nice sports center where we played our volleyball tournament and also some beautiful parks. There are lots of nice hotels to stay at that are not far from the interstate and offer reasonable rates. You will have no worries about finding a good place to eat, as they have plenty. We felt very safe in this city and the community is very welcoming.

Cape Girardeau is beautiful.
Cape Girardeau is beautiful. Sadly this is probably our last trip because our daughter graduated today. We love eating at Dogwood and doing the activities there like bowling and ax throwing for cheap pricing. There’s a book store right down from Dog wood with older and newer book tok books. We love going to sugar chic for ice cream and walking down to the river and around that area to all the shops. It was the Customer Service that I appreciated , since I've been in Customer Service for 50 years . Plus it was so nice & clean. A big plus since I'm in the Service Industry & Travel for a living. A clean room with clean sheets and a clean bathroom are at the top of the list. Thank you to the General Manager of this Hotel & working with your staff to make the Travelers feel like they're in a cozy , home like , atmosphere. So much Appreciated! Love your Staff! Thank you again. Keep up the Great Customer service & Atmosphere!

We loved Bonbon's for breakfast and a macaroon and tea! Also Broussard's was a wonderful Cajun experience :-) Then, of course the compact downtown and a slight incline, good exercise, along with the 3 antique malls, one on Spanish our favorite ;) and Just Kidding mom and kids consignment, always has a few great things I want to take home~ Patrick O'Ferrell's was a bit rude but great reuben and homemade chips...but Ground About Coffee we had to hit the first afternoon for coffee and 2nd morning for a Harvest Green smoothie, delish! Then a music store, great plus for us since we're a band the last 32 years...of our 37 together that we chose to celebrate in Cape, TY! We were disappointed in the size and view of our first room shown at the Courtyard Marriot but thrilled to have divinely run into the property manager in the lobby who upgraded us to a suite, cuz of our anniversary and his generosity, so we'd recommend the suites~

This hotel is known for their breakfast spread and we have tournaments in Cape Girardo once a year and always stay at Auburn Place. I wouldn’t want to stay at any other hotel in the area and we have been traveling to the area for years.
