Fully equipped room and bathroom, with a very good location (close to the Fukui station). The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also fairly good

The staff was very friendly, and the room was quite large considering the low price. The bed is enormous, which was refreshing to see. The value was phenomenal, but I think the fact that it's on the outskirts of town helps with that (see negative items below)

It was very quiet during our stay and many pool/bathing options to choose from. Some people may be disappointed by the dated decor and facilities, but I really enjoyed the Showa-era ambiance. The traditional Japanese meal was impressive.
