I find the idea quite original, transform a prison into a hostel. All the doors and the main equippments of a prison have been conserved, the staff is extremely friendly and accessible and the hostel is equipped with a nice restaurant and all the facilities needed, The kitchen has a coffee machine which surprised me in a good way. Totally recommend.

The location and how clean it is

We choose this hotel as it was close to the main train station. The room was very quirky. All the staff were extremely pleasant. We particularly liked that there was a member of staff on duty at breakfast making eggs to order. Lovely fresh omelettes to your choosing.

Good Room Sizes, Amazing view.

We enjoy staying there for a night. You can park in front of the room. Restaurant is really good. And after dinner you can walk around and discover Chur.

This was a very unique place to stay. Everything in Chur is expensive and this was the cheapest we could find. It is a campground located in an industrial part of town right next to the river. Many people park their campers here. It is a quiet part of town, with just the river for noise. The beds exceeded our expectations in the cabin. They were very comfortable and the bedding was plush and nice. The shower house was one of the largest I have seen and very clean. It was an interesting experience to stay in a campground.

The traditional wooden chalet was set in a beautiful location at the top of the mountain in Brambruesch, a gondola/cable car ride or 20/30 minute car journey from Chur city centre. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We had a large family room with stunning views over the valley. It had a large comfy double bed plus bunk beds and a table and seating for 6 people. Bergpension Battagliahutte had a great homely feel thanks to the hosts Tomas and his lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

When we got to the hotel we didn't want to stay because it is very high in the mountains. It was very foggy that day. We had then decided to stay. In the end, we were very satisfied that we stayed. Sonia and Martin were certainly good hosts. The natural area around the hotel is great for hiking or just walking in nature.

Lovely hotel in the quiet village of Tschiertschen. Breakfast buffet was plenty. The hotel also has a very nice spa which we took advantage of after a long day of hiking up the mountains nearby.

Very nice, fairly new family hotel with excellent amenities and facilities for the price. Kids play area, a good restaurant, very nice staff and clean rooms with a touch of special design. The kids and we loved it.

Quiet location and very clean

Everything was really good. Once we reached the location, due to some network issues we could not receive the check in mail. But the staff was available on call 24/7 and everything were arranged very quickly.

Close to Chur train station, about 8 mins walk. If you’re catching the Bernina Express, this hotel is very convenient. Close to the plaza for food (coop for groceries) and shopping (about 7 mins walk). Rooms are clean, kitchen has microwave and fridge. Easy check in with door codes given ahead of time. There’s pizza restaurant downstairs for dinner.

The apartment was centrally located and a quick 10 min walk through old town to the train station and various bus stops. Lots of nearby restaurants and stores. I found the guest app very useful and helpful in finding things to do, places to eat. The host was very quick to respond with any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay in a spotless and well-maintained home! The location is truly marvelous—just a short walk from Chur station. Check-in was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay.
