Excellent relatively new hotel, huge and imposing

We loved our stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Jingdezhen. We can't speak Mandarin, but the staff were easy to engage with, and were very patient while we used our translation Apps. Honestly the staff was amazing and often went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We are very grateful to them for their warm hospitality! The hotel is close to the high speed rail station (10 min) and about 10 - 30 min (by car – Didi's are very convenient and affordable) to some of the main sights in and around the city. We found this convenient because our entry and exit of the city was so easy and we enjoyed staying in a quieter neighbourhood (versus right downtown where it was busy). There was a large breakfast provided with lots of local food options, my favourite was the noodle bar. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very nice. Rooms were very good. Location was just beside a market with many possibilities to eat and shop.

The location of the bnb was perfect for accessing much of sanbaocun and Jingdezhen. The daily breakfasts offered were made of delicious and healthy natural ingredients. The hosts also offered a complimentary latte alongside breakfast which was a super nice touch! Our host was kind enough to pick us up from the train station and gave us many recommendations for places to drink tea and visit ceramics shops. The BnB neighbors were super kind and rented us electric scooters to use daily. There is a super nice common area, garden, and even a peaceful tea room at the BnB, that we wish we had time to use during our stay. I didn’t know anything about the village before coming but soon learned that it is a very traditional ceramics village and that there are many places even within walking distance to make pottery, visit artist studios, and ancient kilns. We stayed for 4 night but could’ve definitely stayed longer! There are so many places to visit and we would love to come back again to visit other nearby ceramics villages and museums. We are very grateful to have stayed in Forest Haven BnB — SanBaocun has become very popular over the years and can be very crowded on the weekends. Despite this, the BnB is super quiet and in a convenient location.

The location was exceptional. Located only one block away from Taoxichuan its one of the best deals you can get in Jingdezhen. The room was perfect with fast wifi, and the AC works wonderfully. I stayed for about a month and I would absolutely return anytime here. As well the host Lionel was so welcoming and kind, and made my stay at jingdezhen feel like a second home. I highly recommend.
