Accommodation in Castleton

This is a lovely old pub in a picturesque village in the Pesk District. The staff were so warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic (we had the steak). We atesitting by the fire and had a delicious breakfast in the morning. We absolutely loved our stay!! Highly recommended.

Perfect location in gorgeous Castleton. Very expensive for just one night without breakfast, but it is near to Christmas. Hey ho you only live once

Lovely hotel with a perfect pub with a fireplace downstairs. Fantastic breakfasts, the staff were beyond helpful and fab. Would def recommend to everyone and would come again! Perfect value for the money (I honestly think it might have cost more).

The George was in an ideal location for my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend and would stay again. The food was excellent especially the continental breakfast.

Lovely building inside and out. Room was very nice and we had a really good nights sleep, which was much needed after a 13 mile hike. Breakfast was yum and the chat serving was so friendly, made the atmosphere wonderful for early morning. Will stay again

The room and the pub itself were amazing, and the food was incredible, I recommend the Sea Bass and the Mac and Cheese. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Didn't hear too much from downstairs once we went to bed for the evening too.

lovely hotel, conveniently located for all the trails. Small boutique hotel with lovely staff and newly redecorated rooms. Loved the bed too, I had such a restful night sleep! Definitely recommended

This youth hostel is in a beautiful old country house. Naturally, the rooms are small and basic but they are clean and I found the simple bed surprisingly comfortable. Staff is most friendly and there is a café period. It is surrounded by a nice park and very peaceful. I got a room for myself and was very happy with that.

We had a very warm welcome on arrival had a comfortable room breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal and served very well by friendly staff . all he staff very helpful and friendly .

Very handy place if you want a wander around castleton and walking from the area. Dog friendly. No hassle check in/out. Bed was huge and super comfy! I usually camp in the area but will definitely return in colder months.

The design and details in everything was so special breakfast was delicious served in a separate building old barn renovated to outstanding design with a log burner in the corner it was beautiful the house itself is gorgeous surrounding fields with alpacas ..horses in stables lodged in the yard ..wonderful ..it felt like wuthering heights

The location was fantastic and the house itself has been furnished and decorated to an excellent standard.

Whats not to like. Lovely accommodation situated in the centre of Castleton, with parking. The Barn was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Ideal base for a weekend of walking followed by a great meal in the 1530 restaurant.

Bourne cottage is perfect for families . Everything we needed was available in the cottage and in the village . Great stay for Christmas.

Loved it. All. Pub was classic. Room comfortable and a good size. Food/dinner/breakfast yummy and the staff were smiling, helpful, confident and friendly.
