Great sea view rooms, right on the seafront

Good and not expensive hotel. We had sea-view room. Full English breakfast was served . Very good location in the port. Lot of pubs nearby.

After staying in 3 hotels and 2 Airbnbs over the past 2 months while waiting for our flat, Stay Kula Hotel Kensington was a breath of fresh air. I arrived with my emotional support dog and, after explaining my severe mould allergy and recent health issues, Suman the concierge was incredibly professional, kind and welcoming. The room was beautiful, the bed so comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely spotless—something I was especially relieved to see after previous experiences with mould. The customer service was also excellent, with quick responses by phone and email. Thank you to Suman and the lovely reception team for making us feel so welcome. I would rate Kula even higher if I could and can't wait to stay again! ❤️

Amazing hotel with all the trimmings

The environment was beautiful and so quiet in the country side. Very welcoming management. Breakfast was superb and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Ideal location to get to the Channel Tunnel.

We think it was a good place great rooms 10 out of 10 amazing (7 year old). The property was a base for us to explore the Folkestone Harbour. It was short bus ride to the harbour, but we opted for the 20 minute walk to see the area. The property was well maintained and clean in most places. We did find some cobwebs around the house (although it was the start of the season April) but other than that, the venue was fit for our family of 6. Some of the facilities could do with some modernising. For example, the curtain in the living room, the cupboards in the master bedroom and finishing touches in the bathroom. The kitchen was also well stocked. The host generously let us have a later checkout. All in all, me and my family would love to stay in the 8ight haven folkestone again.
