Accommodation in Folkestone

Stayed for one night. Breakfast was excellent and served early which was useful for catching the Eurotunnel.

It was perfect. We loved the hotel. It felt warm, welcoming, and very comfortable. The staff were excellent.. We loved our room. It was so beautiful, and the artwork was stunning all around the hotel. The bed was comfy, and the shower was really good. The hotel feels like it is loved, and that makes it feel like a happy place to be. The meal in the restaurant was absolutely delicious, as was the desert. The chef is brilliant. Thank you for such a lovely stay. :)

Overnight pre-chunnel stay, for the money, exceptionally surprised at the bar and restaurant/food, room was pleasant and compact, but very cheap.

Everything in the Hotel was excellent. Room, lounges, bar restaurant very comfortable and welcoming. All the staff were excellent, very efficient, friendly and helpful. No hesitation in staying in this lovely Hotel again.

They were always readily available for any help you needed. They were very sweet and accommodating.

A wonderful, stylish hotel in a convenient location in the spacious city center with a view of the harbor. Cozy, tidy, and unique. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant serves exceptionally delicious dishes made from freshly caught fish, and the breakfast is perfect.

It’s so convenient for the channel tunnel. We’ve stayed twice now, both going and coming back. Rob is most welcoming and friendly. It’s a delight to stay there, wether an overnight stop or a convenient base to explore the area.

We eat a vegan diet and didn't have to do without anything at breakfast. Toast, jam, muesli, oat-, soya- or almondmilk.

We think it was a good place great rooms 10 out of 10 amazing (7 year old). The property was a base for us to explore the Folkestone Harbour. It was short bus ride to the harbour, but we opted for the 20 minute walk to see the area. The property was well maintained and clean in most places. We did find some cobwebs around the house (although it was the start of the season April) but other than that, the venue was fit for our family of 6. Some of the facilities could do with some modernising. For example, the curtain in the living room, the cupboards in the master bedroom and finishing touches in the bathroom. The kitchen was also well stocked. The host generously let us have a later checkout. All in all, me and my family would love to stay in the 8ight haven folkestone again.

Warm welcome, very clean and cosy. Well laid out to make the most of the space. For us the location, close to Euro Tunnel, was also a great benefit.

The weather on arrival was very cold but George was extremely helpful in managing the rapid warm up of the property for us. Spacious flat, comfy beds, 2 baths!!

Our bedrooms and bathroom were beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked freshly - different one for each of us. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for an evening meal.

It's a little jem of a hotel . Love staying there .

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff, located right on the sea front and within walking distance to shops. Lovely spacious & comfortable rooms had a great view of the sea and the golf course. Pool & spa amenities were great.

Shower gels..easy access to room..front or private back way .easy check in .and freindly staff.very attentive...lovely clean decorated hallways to rooms ..

The Red Lion was great. The food and staff were amazing 🤩 nothing was a problem for them.

Fabulous hotel such a warm welcome from the host the room was beautiful with everything and more to make your stay the best possible. Shower was fantastic wonderful comfy bed and very quiet room just what we needed after a long journey. Great choice of beer in the bar really cozy atmosphere very friendly staff and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. We will without a doubt be returning thanks for a great stay 😊😊
