Location, friendly welcoming reception staff.

Beautiful house with a sea view and a nice park/grass area, quiet town at night. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and good shower. We especially liked the breakfast with plenty of healthy choices and a beautiful breakfast room. We were sad it was only night.

Excellent place, all the necessary facilities, clean. The inner courtyard is very beautiful, green and full of flowers. The breakfast was great and they serve it to your room. There is a parking place available. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Couldn't recommend it more.

Clear instructions to get there, friendly chat. It was a very cosy, clean room with a comfortable bed and everything u need. Bathroom was also great. We would like to come here again next time!

We think it was a good place great rooms 10 out of 10 amazing (7 year old). The property was a base for us to explore the Folkestone Harbour. It was short bus ride to the harbour, but we opted for the 20 minute walk to see the area. The property was well maintained and clean in most places. We did find some cobwebs around the house (although it was the start of the season April) but other than that, the venue was fit for our family of 6. Some of the facilities could do with some modernising. For example, the curtain in the living room, the cupboards in the master bedroom and finishing touches in the bathroom. The kitchen was also well stocked. The host generously let us have a later checkout. All in all, me and my family would love to stay in the 8ight haven folkestone again.

We booked incorrectly we booked month earlier than we needed it. We contacted the Host the day after when we received a review notification to explain. The Hosts were amazing and simply rebooked the room for the month after without charge. Never had this experience before. Amazing room amazing service great location few miles from the Channel Tunnel will definitely use this Host in future as we plan several trips to France.
