Land mark building on the sea front in the lovely town of Folkestone, the Burstin Hotel should be the key to accommodation in Folkestone. Unfortunately, due to systematically being run into the ground by the Britannia hotel group, like many of the landmark locations. Burstin Hotel is not an ideal place to stay because it is dated and dirty.

Very efficient staff and service. Reasonable food and good accommodation. Nothing to dislike. We have been staying here for 15 years annually and will continue to do so.

Great welcome as always, stayed here a few times now, accommodation always really clean. The staff were so helpful, storing my bike safely, securing our parking, nothing was too much for them, we’ll definitely be back again 😁

If you are using the shuttle to France, this is an excellent stop-over. There are no frills, just a straightforward, competent and comfortable place to stay for the night. The restaurant did its job in the evening (breakfast was excellent), the rooms are quite stark but well equipped and parking is easy and secure. This is not a holiday hotel but a very efficient business-style motel and is recommended. We will certainly use it every time we use the shuttle.

Stayed to get channel tunnel next morning. Holiday inn can’t really go wrong just slightly better than a premier in.
