Accommodation in Hexham

Nice hotel in a great location on the Hadrian’s wall path. By the river and an elegant stone bridge. Good dinner and good cooked breakfast.

The room was very clean and nicely furnished (modern, yet cosy). Staff was exceptionally friendly. Whenever I talked to people in shops or cafés, you could feel the love and appreciation the people of Hexham have for The Beaumont and the people working there. I highly recommend staying here.

Location was wonderful as we are older ladies and the walk from train station was short and easy.. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Short walk into shopping area.

The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, big fluffy towels and nice toiletries. We had dinner in the hotel, it was delicious and good value for money.

The owner checked us in, was really good and told us everything we needed to know. My self and 3 others had rooms and all the same excellent standard. The hotel rooms have just been refurbished by the looks and there is everything you need in the room. Bar downstairs was excellent. Did NOT hear any noise from down stairs and slept really well. You are right by everything and apparently the train station in walking distance if needed. I can recommend the accommodation highly.

Absolutely perfect location, especially if you like castles and medieval history. The rooms inside the castle were spacious and beautifully arranged. The bathroom was roomy and matched the design of the rest of the castle. The food was splendid. Albeit we couldn't participate in it because we had to leave, a complimentary guided tour through the castle was included in the stay. The mood inside the castle was great and fitting with the theme. The decors matched perfectly.

Dominica and Medi the owners just could not do enough for us. They were really lovely.

Great location, in a private secluded spot. Wonderful facilities and spotlessly clean. The whole property is well equipped and spacious. If you want a very peaceful, quiet break, this is the place to stay. A short drive from Hexham, Corbridge, and other Roman sites. I enjoyed my stay so much I have booked a week next summer. Others have commented on the road to the property, we had no problem, just a bit bumpy in places, but that added to the adventure of staying In such a rural location. Seriously, one of the best holiday homes I've stayed in.

Sue was absolutely lovely in welcoming us, even though we had a sudden change of itinerary - thank you for your hospitality! The nature surrounding Bardon Mill is breathtaking.

Functional and comfortable, like a home from Home. The biggest selling point for me (as a dog owner) is the totally secure outdoor space that comes with this property

James couldn’t have been more helpful - even offering to bring me soup because i hadn’t had dinner and delivering wine and snacks. Very lovely characterful property. If i had more time i would have taken advantage of the beautiful walks that can be done straight from the front door.

The apartment was very spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay. Being a listed building, it had a lot of character and fascinating historical features. It was warm, clean and we felt at home as soon as we entered. The location was right in the center of town and was surrounded by interesting shops and good bars - there was even a Mexican juice and food bar just round the corner. The bed had the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and we both woke up feeling well rested. The owner, Susan, replied immediately to any questions I had and was very helpful and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay and I recommend this apartment very highly indeed. Many thanks!

Plenty of room and very good condition placed right near the Main Street

Fabulous central location but quiet and peaceful. Immaculate with everything you need! Lovely touches, beautiful welcoming basket with bread, butter, jams, delicious cakes and milk in the fridge. Perfect bedding for a great nights sleep! Lovely restaurants nearby and unique shops. Top restaurant for us was The Beaumont! We would recommend staying at this property.
