It was the 26th property that we stayed at on this trip and was the best outfitted!

The location was brilliant with only a short walk to the train station and the meeting point for the 10 Lakes Mountain Goat Tour.

The guesthouse itself has a classical charm and is oozing with character. The icing on the cake was chatting with Yvonne who is a very friendly and interesting lady. Thanks again!

Many thanks, Cathy for a wonderful stay. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation, parking and facilities and restaurants nearby. Our three teenage girls felt independent and made use of the nearby shopping, cafes and sports facilities at the local hotel. My wife and I were pleased with the overall homelessness of the property, the living room in particular is nice and cosy. Highly recommended and great base for the Lake District.

We can recommend the accomodation and would come back any time. We were on a family holiday and Kendal as well as the house itself were a perfect location, especially with two teenagers who did not want to join their parents for long hike tours up to the different fells. The house was cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The equipment of the house was of high quality. We appreciated the environmentally friendly approach.

The Glen guest house is an exceptional place to stay. The hosts are so attentive to every little detail. The bedroom is very comfortable, and bathroom with separate bath and shower great. Everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is first class. As you can see we cannot fault the accommodation and are happy to fully recommend this guest house.
