Relax with the family or friends at this rural place to stay.
Easily accessible by road and rail. The cottage is just a few miles away from the closest amenities including supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Idyllic walks on the doorstep, and a stones throw from the Lake District National Park.
The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people however if you would like to use the sofa bed which can sleep a further two then we ask you to bring bedding.
Please note that there is a TV in the living room but due to its rural location you will not be able to access terrestrial TV channels. You will be able to watch programmes through logging into BBC iPlayer/Channel 4/Netflix/Amazon apps. Wifi is available, but again as it is a rural location it can sometimes be intermittent.
There is a log burner which you can use as your wish - please note we do not provide logs. In the interest of reducing unnecessary energy consumption if you would like the heating to be turned on for your arrival please request this directly.
We both thoroughly enjoy any outdoor activities from walking to kayaking! Spending time with friends and family is very important to us both, and we love being able to open up our home in Kendal for people to be able to enjoy meeting up with friends and family to make great memories.
We love exploring all that the Lake District has to offer, and we hope that you do too.
The cottage is 3 miles from Kendal Town which boasts a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops. And only 1.6 miles to the nearest large supermarket (Morrisons), other supermarkets in Kendal include Asda, Sainsburys, Booths and Aldi.
There are a number of walks around the area in short driving distance and also accessible straight from the door (Bridleway opposite the front door).
The nearest pub is 2.1 miles from the house.
