A great place to grab some rest when travelling the highways. What made the stay above average, is the staff - in particular, David at the front desk. He was very helpful and changed rooms for us when we had a minor issue. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good people.

Evelyn and John welcomed us like a family member. You immediately recognize their warm welcome and that you will nothing miss as a guest. The bedroom furniture was good quality. The bedding and towels were clean and the room was clean. The tea/coffee facilities were good. The bathroom was very good with a great power shower. TV was standard Freeview which suited us for our stay of one night. The Full English Breakfast was excellent.

All facilities clean, comfortable and as expected. We took advantage of the food vouchers on offer to get a good deal at the services opposite for both our dinner and breakfast the next day. But it was the outstanding reception staff that really made our stay. They went out of their way to help us when our car broken down and we found ourselves stranded. Such as suggesting the vouchers and offering us somewhere to stash our cases temporarily. we can't thank them enough.

What a great stay! There was an issue with payments as a fault of booking.com I was charged twice. The hotel was great and refunded immediately. Upon arrival I was upgraded as a gesture of good will. The staff were so welcoming, polite and friendly. I enjoyed a lovely steak lunch which was cooked to perfection. The room was beautiful and clean, I couldn’t really ask for more. The breakfast the following morning was lovely as well. I would highly recommend staying here.
