The manager seems to be literally always there and is extremely friendly and helpful, and so is the rest of the team Spoken to some of them "off the record" and they really like to work there and were very positive about their manager Breakfast was superb and included in my room rate As I really love pubfood, I can say the fish and chips + the hunter's chicken I had for dinner were one of the best I ever had

I had some trouble with the night of my stay and the staff went above and beyond to help me, move my stay and make me feel welcomes. It was an amazing experience to stay here and they have stove and barbecue equipment provided plus sauna. We had extra bed in out tent which it was so comfortable and cosy and clean, we have our cat with us and he loved it so much playing in grass and watching birds, so quiet and peaceful place to take break from city and Michael was so helpful and friendly he also give us some logs for fire free of charge. Highly recommend .

The bedroom furniture was good quality. The bedding and towels were clean and the room was clean. The tea/coffee facilities were good. The bathroom was very good with a great power shower. TV was standard Freeview which suited us for our stay of one night. The Full English Breakfast was excellent.

All facilities clean, comfortable and as expected.
We took advantage of the food vouchers on offer to get a good deal at the services opposite for both our dinner and breakfast the next day.
But it was the outstanding reception staff that really made our stay. They went out of their way to help us when our car broken down and we found ourselves stranded. Such as suggesting the vouchers and offering us somewhere to stash our cases temporarily. we can't thank them enough.

What a great stay! There was an issue with payments as a fault of booking.com I was charged twice. The hotel was great and refunded immediately. Upon arrival I was upgraded as a gesture of good will. The staff were so welcoming, polite and friendly. I enjoyed a lovely steak lunch which was cooked to perfection. The room was beautiful and clean, I couldn’t really ask for more. The breakfast the following morning was lovely as well. I would highly recommend staying here.
