We visited Pangong Tso in May 2026 and it was freezing cold (-11°) But we found that the owner was very caring, he provided hot water instantly upon our arrival and had managed clean rooms and provided good freshly made hot food. TOTAL Value for money. Owner Mr. Thinless, took special care by providing extra blanket and hot water bags to warm the beds at night. Highly recommend.

Staying in alpine cottage was the highlight of my Ladakh trip. The wooden cottage was clean and offered a direct, unobstructed view of Pangong Lake right from the window. Watching the sunrise from the bed was a magical experience.
