NetherlandsIt's at a super convenient location within the Golden Circle. It's a easy 1h drive from the KEF airport. Driving to any scenic spots are verg easy and quick. The scenery is also amazing. There were a group of horses that often roam around the grass afar, we can see them from our window.

NetherlandsThe cottage itself is quite big, with a total of 3 bedrooms it’s perfect for family leisure and or larger groups (pro tip: you can re-arrange the beds to make a bigger bed).
The surroundings are stunning, mountains almost everywhere, when it’s rainy and foggy the tops of the mountains fade a bit which makes it feel more cozy.
The floor heating is a great way to keep the entire house warm although we did turn it off approx. 3 hours before sleep as it also heats the bedrooms.
The location when it comes to restaurants and shops is also quite good, there is a small shop + road restaurant on about 5 minutes away from the cabin although all of this and more is provided in the guest book.
All with all we had a great stay and would probably come again if we decide to visit Iceland for a second time.
(Ps. There is a former volcano-ish pit 1 minute away, it does cost around 800 ISK but is worth visiting (€5.50 at the time of writing))

We have a room with two single beds, and two bunk beds. The beds are comfortable. It’s quite roomy and warm. The breakfast was quite nice with quite many choice of food from 7-10am. Few of the accommodations of similar price range include breakfast.

Although the accommodations are a little cramped, it had everything we needed. As usual what is most important to us is peace and quiet and a comfortable bed. Heima had both. There are a total of 8 rooms, 4 to each "wing". We were in a room in the middle of a wing and NEVER heard our neighbors through the walls. The bed was comfortable and we were able to get the needed rest after long days of site seeing. I can easily recommend this accommodation for couples. I cannot rate the wifi as we did not realize it was available.

The accommodation had everything, very well maintained and super cute! The kitchen is a few meters away from the pods but we didn’t have a problem. The host was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

I booked this accommodation at the very last minute due to bad weather cancelling ferries out to my planned destination. Communications were great, and the host was incredibly gracious and accommodating.
The apartment is well furnished, very comfortable, and a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights to visit the Selfoss area and the Golden Circle. It is in a quiet location but, with shops, supermarkets and restaurants on the doorstep. I would stay here again.

The vacation rental offers an ideal location to explore the Golden Circle in Iceland. With attractions such as the Geysir, the Gullfoss waterfall, and the Þingvellir National Park nearby, it is a perfect starting point for adventures in this fascinating region. The vacation rental itself was exceptional, spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Shopping facilities are about 15 minutes away, and the large windows are ideal for observing the Northern Lights.
