The hotel used to be a monastery that was turned into the hotel this year. The location is unbeatable, it's literally across the St. Francis cathedral. The staff was very helpful and cordial, giving recommendations for the day, where to park, where to eat and how to tour around the city. The room was bing enough, not very luxurious, but with an AC unit and comfortable beds. Breakfast was OK, nothing to boast about, but good enough options.

The properties location, beauty of our gorgeous junior suite and ease of communication were exceptional but it was the property’s owners and facilitators that made our stay free of worry…they helped us immediately with our bus/train schedule and meeting spot for departure so that I didn’t spend my precious time in Assisi worrying… ♥️… they even brought down our bags , stored and sent us a photo so we could check out, wander about for our last few hours and transition to departure…I can’t say enough…thank you for a lovely first leg of our trip.

Beautifully restored buildings, nestled among olive trees and breathtaking view of Assisi (pictures cant do it justice).Super lovely and accommodating staff (we arrived very late with kids and they went above and beyond!). Lovely breakfast and such a gorgeous spa area (we didnt use it this time but hopefully next one). Would most certainly go back.

A wonderful location for combining rural and cultural tourism. Excellent level of hygiene and service. They have a farmyard with well-kept animals, the children had fun in the yard. The views from the place are breathtaking. A swimming pool is currently being built, which will be available to guests during the summer season. The room is excellent, simple yet wonderful – perfect for pilgrims. It offers a view of the Basilica of San Rufino, with the Basilica of Santa Chiara nearby. Grocery stores are within easy reach, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The city bus stop is just a few minutes away. What I would especially like to highlight is the kindness of the hosts, for which we are sincerely grateful. If we have the chance to visit Assisi again, our accommodation will most definitely be La Cattedrale Rooms.
