We were fortunate enough to have one of the suites at the front which had a jacuzzi and sauna - it was exceptional. Bed was extremely comfortable and linens and towels superb. Location is fantastic and extremely close to the lake with only a 10 minute walk up to the old town which is well worth a visit. Onsite parking is also available. A lovely boutique hotel.

Where to start!! Had an absolutely lovely long weekend at Poderaccio with friends. The apartment was beautiful with lovely antique furniture, spacious and comfortable with a stunning terrace view over the countryside and the lake. I was slightly panicky re lack of air con due to going in the height of summer and at the peak of a heatwave but needn't have worried- the apartment felt fresh and the fans provided in each room were more than adequate. There was a consistent breeze outside- coming from sweltering Rome it felt like another country! The pool and sunbed area set in the middle of the greenery was gorgeous and that first dip in the pool after a summer of Rome heatwaves was most welcome. Stefano and Manuela were the perfect hosts, so friendly and warm and informative about the local area, history and food.....which leads me onto the restaurant. Fabulous food overlooking the gardens and the lake. All local produce - the plate of affettati, cheeses and grilled vegetables we had one night was exceptional (the courgettes are still being talked about as is the apricot preserve). The second night we had the 3 course works- ravioli, fettucine with truffle, rabbit cacciatora, dessert wine and biscotti with some fabulous wine and amari to finish and it was all delicious with such high quality ingredients. I would have quite happily spent every minute of our time there but its close proximity to the charming medieval lakeside town of Bolsena with its tempting independent shops and castle meant that we spent a very enjoyable morning wandering and discovering. And of course there is the lake! Which our dog who was also warmly welcomed at Poderaccio particularly appreciated for an early morning swim. We will be back - I am already imagining autumn and winter weekends there with the fireplace in the apartment in use.

Great location on the lake. Traditional Italian hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Fairly easy to walk into town along the road, great restaurants nearby.

Raffaella was extremely helpful when my friend had an injury and we needed to seek medical care. She went out of her way to assist us and help with planning our next steps. I can't speak highly enough of her kindness and help! The B&B is well located between the lake and the town, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was ample!

What a beautiful apartment, we loved the terrace and how private it felt whilst being so close to everything. A short stroll to both the lake and town. Andrea was super helpful and the apartment beautiful, very clean and well equipped.

Super practical . Near the beach, lots of parking and lots of space. In quiet neighborood, near supermarket. Very basic and a bit dated but has everything you need for a short stay.

Location Very clean and spacious, well equiped kitchen. Hosts were a great couple - gave us a voucher for local parking. Would have returned when we stayed in Bolsena on 9th Oct but it was booked out.
