Accommodation in Pisa

Location is great, rooms are a little small but good for a short stay. Lovely terrace and main area. A good place for stays with company, cheap stays, or if you are alone and want to make friends

The hotel is located in a quite quiet area, in a friendly neighborhood. 15 minutes' walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. From the train station I arrived quite quickly with a bus that had a stop in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good, a lot of food and variety, for all tastes. The hotel also has a restaurant where various dishes can be served. Also, we were able to serve a cocktail in the hotel lobby.

I actually returned to Helvetia specifically because my flight home was from Pisa, but honestly I was happy for the excuse, since my first stay had been great and this time was no different. I got a bigger room with an en suite bathroom this time, which was a lovely upgrade. The hotel looked freshly renovated throughout and everything felt brand new while still keeping this beautiful vintage decor that I absolutely loved. And the cleanliness was really impressive, everything felt spotless and well looked after. The view from my room was absolutely dreamy, mountains stretching out as far as you could see, the kind you just sit and stare at for a while. Location-wise you really can't fault it: - The Leaning Tower is literally 3 minutes away on foot - Piazza dei Cavalieri just 5, and everything else - Palazzo Blu, the shopping street, the train station, within 15-20 minutes. In the street right next to the hotel you've got cafés, restaurants and even a couple of supermarkets for everyday bits. The only downside is no elevator, so luggage requires a bit of effort. I heard they're working on it though, so maybe next time! Would I go back for a third stay? Absolutely.

The hotel was magnificent. It has great rooms, free parking, which is important for me, as we arrived by rented car. The staff was helpful and nice. It has a gourme restaurant. Nearby is also a very popular pizzeria ristorante La Vecchia Cascina where we had a wonderful family dinner. My mother who had her birthday also was very delighted with our stay in Pisa at San Ranieri Hotel.

excellent location in the middle of everything, good breakfast

We stay here everytime we fly in and out of Pisa. Our flat is in Borgo a Mozzano and we can take the train from our town, to Pisa Centrale and walk across the street to the hotel. Perfect for landing at night for fllying out the next day. You can also walk straight to the Leaning Tower and shop along the way. The staff is amazing and we have had great meals at places they recommend. Nice way to arrive and leave.

The location of the hotel was close to the train station and a 10-minute walk from the Leaning Tower and Miracles Square; big and clean room, very clean bathroom, simple but satisfying breakfast. Excellent coffee! The room was beyond expectations, considering the low score received by the hotel on booking.com.

Location is very nice and central, 15 min walk from main train station and very close to leaning tower. there are a lot of restaurants and bars around. small minibar included in the price and additional drinks which are in the lobby. room size and bathroom was very good. in overall it seems very new and refreshing.

We loved the location, around 10/15 minutes walk to both, the train station and the Leaning Tower of Pizza. Located just on a little but very busy Poazza Gibarelli full of little bars, food shops(delicious kebab and pizza shop) and of course gelato. The neighborhood was very lively, but as soon as you closed the balcony door(with the beautiful view of the river), the noise was gone and you could enjoy your sleep. The room was very specious and clean with perfectly working bathroom. It had a common area with the fridge, coffee machine and kettle for all guests to use. Don't get scared by the two flights of stairs...it's well worth it! If you have any questions, the host Edoardo is only an email away. Oh, do check in using the Vikey service as advised, it will save you issues with getting into the property.

Everything was perfect. We lived in centrum, many bars and restaurants. Near was Pisa tower. Apartament we found easy, was big and clean and everything you need was inside, apartament was already cooled! Perfect!

We liked everything. It's perfect for a couple to stay in when visiting Pisa, it's close to all the tourist attractions and restaurants/bars. It also has all the basic needs if you fancy cooking for yourself.
