Really nice resort, beautiful room, excellent (and not too heavy) dinner, plus good and varied breakfast spread. There is an excellent harp performance in the evening (and marshmallow toasting). The resort also has vending machines (beer and soft drinks), a pastry shop and a bar, plus a great gym (with gym wear and shoes which can be borrowed). The onsen facilities are excellent. The room private outdoor bath is also superb. The staff are all super nice. There is also a free shuttle service so you can go there even without a car.

Hotel Chupki was our 5th accommodation in this trip and this is by far our favourite. The facility is very clean, quiet and exactly what we needed to relax. The room is large for Japanese standard with a beautiful view of the snowy forest. It’s a mix of traditional and modern. The ladies are so polite, kind and generous with their time. The ryokan breakfast was absolutely divine! Everything was perfect! I wish we stayed longer.

Great generously sized unit. Pretty much brand new and not showing any signs of wear. Stove Top was great to use. The host supplied cooking utensils and cutlery that were convenient.

Wonderful place to stay very comfortable and all services. Owner was very friendly, he prepared the house to us, removed the snow and put heater. Incredibly kitchen full equipped. And all house extremely clean.

The wooden onsen bath inside the room, along with the view of the lake from the room, are just simply amazing. Great food, staff is very welcoming and the lady at the receptionist spoke great English. There are only a handful of rooms so it feels very private and luxurious. They also managed to pick us up from the bus station so we did not have to walk in the snow. You can also book to use the outdoor onsen (wooden and rock) upon check in.

Our flight was early in the morning, so we stayed in this hotel to be near the airport. We took the bus in the morning. (15 min by foot to the bus station and then 10 min to the airport) Additionally we had a rental car for our vacation and this hotel is near the rental shops. We brought back the car in the evening before our flight, so we didn't have to do this in the morning.

We stayed in a 3 room apartment. The rooms are spacious and the hall/kitchen are great. Easy self check-in if you have completed the registration earlier. Walking distance to train station (1 train stop to airport) and next to Times car rental.

The accommodation was comfortable and spacious. There was all the equipent we needed. The train station is not far away so in case you need to get to the airport it is a good choice.
