Accommodations in Sengokuhara

We stayed 5 nights, we are 3 so we took a futon room for 3 It's an expensive area but it's a bit pricey (23kyen/night) for a room with no bathroom and just 2 chairs for 3. Only the tv with Chromecast was nice to have! The shared onsen was not busy, it was rather dated, basic and small but clean and functional.

Location was perfect. Near everything. We had a car so perfect. Amazing restaurant right night door

Everything: facilities, size, price, view.

Large size house with naturally maintained garden. The location is secluded but it's beautiful and quiet.

We got the entire house for very little money.

It was a good value for money. They even have paper cups, paper plates, etc. which are really helpful. We might stay again here when we come back to Hakone.

Owner of this villa responded my questions very fast. So, it was very easy to communicated with. Beds are very soft and comfortable. It was very thoughtful that they set-up multiple hot drink choices and seasoning. There are more than enough kitchenwares you need. This place has fancy japanese ohuro tub which fill up itself and keeps water temperture you like(also, there is shampoo, hair conditional, body wash, toothbrush, paste and towels provided). Only complain is that I hope upstair bedrooms had curtain on. We enjoyed staying here. Thank you!

The place is clean and located in Hakone near many attractions. We drove to the Gotemba outlet for only 20 minutes. The wooden deck for BBQ is nice.

The villa is clean and new. Love the hot tub in the bathroom upstairs. The footbath is also a value added feature.

The private onsen was a delight. Spent a lot of time in it. The meals were spectacular. The staff were so attentive. And I never saw another guest.

Amazing amazing breakfast and dinner Beautiful room and design Lovely staff Great onsen both in room and outdoor one

The food was incredible, restaraunt quality, if not better. Stayed 3 days and got incredible variety. The rooms were super comfortable and warm. Staff were incredibly friendly and hard working. Will be back

Both western and Japanese meals were all amazing and fresh! We never left the property to eat.

The facilities are incredibly spacious, clean, and modern, blending a minimalist aesthetic with beautiful decor throughout the property. A definite highlight was the onsen, which offered a deeply relaxing, authentic experience with top-tier amenities that made the stay feel truly luxurious. To top it all off, we had the wonderful opportunity to meet the owner and his daughter, who happens to be the talented artist behind the gorgeous paintings displayed around the hotel. They were both incredibly kind and welcoming, adding a warm, personal touch to an already perfect stay.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed and by far the best in Japan. Fantastic villa, food, staff and location. I must return!
