Accommodations in Ramboda

The views here are unreal even from the parking area. Shower pressure was excellent (a big win after long travel days). There’s no hair dryer in the room, but reception provided one right away when we asked. We had dinner at the hotel and really enjoyed it we did à la carte but you can also do the buffet we just weren’t as hungry. The fan in the room is very strong and it gets cool at night, so we were comfortable even without air conditioning. The views are what makes this place amazing. Room was exactly as shown on booking site and very clean. Sunset view photo is from the parking lot.

We had just finished a day at Ramboda Falls and were looking for a place to stay overnight to avoid driving further. By chance, we stumbled upon this hotel, and it turned out to be far beyond our expectations! The view from the hotel and our room was absolutely extraordinary – truly breathtaking. It felt like we were surrounded by nature's beauty in every direction. To top it off, the dinner was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Sri Lanka. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were impeccable. If you’re in this area, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!

This is a great hotel with a spectacular (!) View. The owner and his family and staff were friendly and attentive and even took care of our tuktuk. The room is very spacious and since there is a restaurant and a store right upstairs, we were always provided with everything we needed.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful, and what truly made it special was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to take such great care of us. The cook was fantastic, preparing incredible meals that we’ll never forget. The staff also helped us organize drivers and day trips, making our experience seamless and enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless, with immaculate rooms and facilities. The scenery and views were breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. This part of Sri Lanka is truly a must-see, and staying at this hotel made our visit even more remarkable. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Incredible property and people. It was a pleasure to meet Johnston who was attentive to every detail to make our stay incredible. The surronding and the house is just magical. You feel like in another era.

Prosper the owner really makes his guests feel at home, treated us like his own family. Hospitality at its best! A minimalist family room, sparkling clean & huge for our family with super comfortable beds. The View at Glenloch-Homestay truly lives up to its name!
