Accommodation in Akumal

This resort is really exceptional. We loved everything - the rooms were amazing, staff so helpful and welcoming and the beach was paradise..we didn't see a turtle unfortunately but saw lots of other cool sea life. This was our first time in an all inclusive resort and we were a bit unsure how the food would be but we weren't disappointed at all...the French and Japanese restaurants were our favourites! We also did the jungle tour and really enjoyed learning about the nature of the resort and the evening entertainment was of great quality...we will be returning.

Could not fault our stay, it was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon! From the minute we arrived to the day we left. It was amazing!

The location, the size of the apartment

I have nothing to complain about as far as the hotel is concerned. The complex was amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money and I would not hesitate to go back. So much choice of food with restaurants and buffet... something for everyone - plenty to do - beach and pool were gorgeous - fantastic place to stay!

How you are surrounded by nature everywhere. The food was great and cenotes were excellent, super quiet so you had them to yourself! Staff are great. We loved our stay so much!

What a wonderful place! Vanessa and her family are really nice and take care of everything you need. If you plan to visit Akumal or Tulum I’d totally recommend to stay here. Thanks for everything!

The hotel is right on the beach, it's very beautiful and quiet. Very clean, and we are overall pleased with it! Close to the place for snorkelling with turtles.

On the beach great host can't fault it

Camp Akumal was super cozy, we felt like home, it’s close to everything but isolated in the beginning of a jungle. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved it and we would definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely two-day stay at Amaya's place and can recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone planning a visit to Yucatan.

Condo was as advertised, beautiful space, great AC and internet. Private pool and laundry Host was exceptional very attentive and went above and beyond. Wil be coming and recommending to others!

Ikalar is so beautiful and extraordinary that words cannot describe it. I have never seen something like this before on planet earth. Everything was built with so much love, beauty, phantasy and in perfect harmony with nature and the cosmos. Thank you Andres for being a role model how creativity could flow into architecture. We enjoyed our stay so much and felt so welcome and were treated not just as guests, but as friends. All our wishes were immediately taken care of. We hope to be at Ikalar soon again. Avery well equipped apartment in an excellent location. Comfortable for a couple. Beautiful beach (need to monitor the sargasso situation) very low when we were there. Nice surroundings and mini-mart and nice restaurant just down the road. Overall a great value for the price
