Accommodations in Tatare

Everything was wonderful! From the views, privacy and the amenities everything was perfect. The only note is the couch is a bit low for the older crowed to get in and out of!

Loved the hot tub after hiking!! Big place for a family to stay. Might need to change out master bedroom bed it was not as comfortable as other beds. Had good cookware for cooking.

You're having your own portable little house in the middle of the field with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The only noise you'll hear will be the birds singing and occasionally hopping on the roof.

The central lobby and lodge space was wonderful! The rooms were beautifully laid out. I loved the big tub!

It was very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Room was spacious and well-appointed. Staff was very helpful about areas to see in our time frame.

Everything! The resident cats, carts for hire, excellent coffee at reception, spa pool was good value. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was great. So close to town, excellent helpful friendly staff.

Located a short 5-minute drive from the Franz Josef town center, this place is away from the hustle and bustle of business. The rooms are generous in size, cozy, and impeccably clean, and the continental breakfast is an added perk. The view from the room and property is breathtaking. Angela was an amazing host, exceeding expectations and always going the extra mile. She stayed late to make sure our check-in process was seamless and assisted with reservations for the Heli Ride and Quad Biking, as well as providing helpful dining recommendations.

We were surprised at how new and clean our cabin was. Lots of windows and a great view of the birds on the meadow. It was an easy place to stay for our three nights. We were so glad we decided to stay outside of the tourist hustle-bustle in the center of town. Angela was the perfect host; she was so welcoming when we arrived.

The property is a nice, basic cabin with a reasonably appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds. The cabin in the picture is not as remote as it appears; it's approx. 10 meters from a home (for the owner maybe?); ie. If you were to sit on the front deck of the cottage, you'd be very close to the backside of the home. However aside from the occasional light from it that filters through the blinds of the cottage's bedroom, there aren't any disturbances. It's a very quiet property & the young lady who checked us in was extremely pleasant to work with and very helpful. One nice surprise was the filtered coffe-maker, a VERY nice change from instant!

Beautiful house in a nice neighborhood. Fully furnished home, including a functional wood-burning fireplace. Responsible and helpful hosts.
