Accommodations in Dimbani

Staying at this beachfront hotel in Zanzibar was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The location alone is stunning waking up to the sound of the ocean and stepping onto soft white sand felt like something out of a dream. What truly made the stay exceptional, though, was the food and the staff. The meals were consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From local Zanzibari dishes rich in spices to international options, every meal felt thoughtfully prepared. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding clearly fresh from the ocean and cooked to perfection. Equally impressive was the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. They went out of their way to make sure every detail was taken care of, always greeting us with smiles and making us feel completely at home. Their hospitality added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach getaway with amazing food and truly caring service, this hotel is an excellent choice.

This place is a gem! A new hotel with a big heart, right by the ocean, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a stunning pool. The rooms are spacious and stylish, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, and very friendly staff. The connection to the hospitality school is inspiring—it's not just a great stay, it’s also supporting something meaningful.. It’s rare to find a place that feels this good in every way. Thank you, Palmera!

We liked the waterfront location very much. The amazing staff. Sunset dinners and the nice pool.

Peaceful beach front paradise . Hotel location simply unbeatable . Perfect for relaxation , stay with fresh and beach escapes.

The room was big and clean. Rustic, relaxing place. It was like a big garden nearby the beach. Very friendly owner and staff.

The reception man George gives excellent service at the bar and restaurant

A lovely place with a wonderful team! The house is charming, peaceful, and very clean. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the beach is only a very short walk away. Highly recommended!

Wow! We had a perfect 4-night stay in Kizikula. The room - and whole property - was absolutely gorgeous. We ate all our meals at the on-site restaurant, with it's daily specials and fresh seafood it was consistently delicious. We would love to return one day!

It was very clean and the staff were always available to help out. They even made me a birthday cake for my birthday and served it during breakfast

Location and staff was great.

The vibe that Mama Root (Olivia) and Papa Root brought to this beautiful and peaceful place in Zanzibar. Very few guests that makes you feel you are in a friend’s house. And the food, my god, the food. Best I had in Tanzania.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The resort is located right on the beach, which gave us beautiful views and easy access to the sea. We especially appreciated the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, as well as the clean surroundings and the lush green areas throughout the property. Everything felt very well maintained, and it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. We liked it a lot and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a calm beach getaway.

The bungalow was spacious clean the staff were very helpful and friendly

We stayed in a 2-bedroom ocean-view apartment at Johari Beach, and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — especially the couch and bed. With two balconies, a fully equipped kitchen, and a gorgeous bathroom with a big shower, it felt like home but with the bonus of private beach access. The property itself is stunning, with two pools (adult & kids), a great gym, and direct access to a clean, peaceful beach. Chef Ali made us amazing meals and customized everything to our requests. The staff, especially Roman, Chef Ali, and Arjun, were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved watching sunsets from the rooftop or beach patio — truly dreamy. Excellent value for money in the most beautiful part of Zanzibar. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation!

This resort is magical! It’s so clean and beautifully decorated. The restaurant has great food with nice prices and all of the staff and genuinely kind and helpful. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. Highly recommend!

Just nice, people are very cool and good breakfast

The breakfast here was absolutely fantastic! It is clear that the chef is passionate, as every dish (even outside of breakfast) was prepared to perfection. I noticed that many of the guests in the restaurant had traveled from outside the area just to dine here, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food. Highly recommended!
