Off the beaten Path a quiet part of Santa Maria. A calm area away from the crowds yet only a few minutes walk to the busy waterfront strip. We loved our stay at Ca GIOgio Apartment it’s a very spacious well planned fully equipped apartment, we really had all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was so comfortable, the black out curtains helped keep the apartment cool we didn’t need to use the air conditioner but it was there if we needed it. The shower was large and the water pressure was great. Kitchen was a joy to use along with the clothes washing machine. Nice sitting room had good light with lots of windows. The entry and hallways of the entire building is well maintained and a pleasure to use. In the surrounding area are grocery shops, city markets , local restaurants and across the street a hospital. Amazing white sandy beach with delicious seafood restaurants, bars of all price points reachable by foot 5 minutes. Our highlight was visiting the Pier to watch the fishing boats bring in their catch along with local artists selling a variety of interesting crafts. The Island has a nice local culture and it was really special to mingle with the local friendly Cabo Verdians and support their businesses. Thank you for your hospitality.

Situated in Espargos and only 3.3 km from  Monte Curral, LAFAYETTE Alojamentos features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This bed and breakfast provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Outdoor seating is also available at the bed and breakfast. We were staying at Lafayette Alojamentos for a few days, and really enjoyed our stay there! The place really felt like a home for us: there was really clean, breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was really warm and kind. Special thanks to Candida (the hostess), who helped us to plan our holiday to be one of a kind!

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Hotel: Ocean Suites is much more than a hotel. The service and attention that you as a customer receive every day is great🤩. I stayed in room 2 (for me one of the nicest room)😌. The room was large, with good working air conditioning and a beautiful view of the popular square and main street.The servers were friendly one by one and want to do everything for you "NO STRESS". And every evening there is live music downstairs in the restaurant with good music. You dance💃🏾 until you can't feel your feet anymore (haha). For your safety, a security guard is present every night and after an evening out he will bring you safely to the entrance so that you can safely return to your room. Breakfast ,lunch and diner: Every morning I could choose between 3 different breakfast menus (American🥓, Cape Verde🫘 and Mediterranean🍅). All three were tasty and you get a lot! You can also enjoy a delicious meal there (lunch and dinner). Try their burger🍔 (one of the tastiest burgers in Cabo Verde!)🤌🏽.  The beach and the famous pier are a 3-minute walk from the hotel! All famous cafes and restaurants are a 5 or 6 minute walk from the hotel. If you want to save money, book all activities through Dorry, which will save you 10 to 20 euros per excursion. And you can also arrange your transport to and from the airport through Dorry. Ocean Suites is for me the best hotel in Santa Maria! Adilson makes the best coffee☕️ for you in the morning. Janete serves you with her beautiful smile in the evening 😍(She has the most beautiful curls I had ever seen) And Flavio teaches you the coolest dance moves every evening💃🏾.
