We were able to stow our backpacks early and Roberto was very helpful. We ate paella just down the street and discovered a lovely free botanical garden to the left of the church. Climb the stone steps and you will get a different perspective of the church. Very peaceful and spiritual. My friend had only read about Gingko trees, but this garden had three. There is a small pool to relax in and around with jets at one end. A nice lawn to sink your toes into with plenty of lawn furniture and shade or sun to sit in. There is also a terrace with umbrellad tables and chairs and a wash tub and drying rack for hanging clothes. They do have a washer and dryer, but we didn’t use them.

Booked two rooms and they were both spacious, super clean, and with great bathroom amenities. Staff was nice. Location was great, close to restaurants.

The room was clean, spacious,soap and shower gel available,bed was big and very comfy, bathroom was good size,room smelled nice.the staff was amazing to prepare our room for a very early check-in ( subject to availability) . Vending machines on the hallway. Good security. Good and easy communication with the staff.

Beautiful property in Palas de Rei, steps from the Camino. The host was lovely and had me checked into my gorgeous room quickly. My room was spotless and I think that was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on during my Camino! Close to great restaurants! I enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast the next morning before starting my walk. Great stay!

It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Our host made us feel like we were at home. Food was readily available for a very reasonable price. We had been walking the Camino all day so it was a very welcome little retreat. We were able to put our washing on and then explore the property. So many cute little animals to interact with.
