What a great place! I think they upgraded us to the Sandpiper Room, which was a spacious room with large bathroom. So nicely decorated and cozy, with a view of the ocean and some lovely multi-colored cottages across the street. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The in-house restaurant was perfect which we enjoyed dinner and breakfast from an ample menu.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I loved the outside sitting area in front of our room. The breakfast was excellent, making us what we wanted even though it wasn't on the menu. Good location to visit other beautiful spots and plenty of local walks.

We were in the area for one night and were delighted to find this gem! We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!
