The Mason has rooms located in the original building and cottage rooms which are set in the hotels gardens. They include TVs, wooden beamed ceilings and some have valley. Free WiFi is available at the property however this may be restricted due to our location in Branscombe A little bit out of the way but well worth the extra driving. The Masons Arms is a gem of a place, great food selection and well prepared, amazingly large and extremely well appointed room and we could walk to the beach in 10 minutes. It has everything you would want from a hotel / pub. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Parking was a little tricky especially at busy times but this was a small price to pay for eating and sleeping here. Will absolutely stop here again,

The George Hotel's historic exterior hides modern interiors and facilities. Fabulous breakfast! Accommodating options for dinner especially when one comes without wheels so can only eat in town. Lovely room. A treat to have tea & coffee (plus biscuits) available at any time. Should I ever find myself returning to this area, I won't hesitate to stay here again.

Location was perfect for us, on a nice quiet street with good parking, just steps away from the University campus. Owner friendly, flexible and fast to address all of our requests. The property is an old traditional house, preserving a lot of features. Room very spacious and decorated in line with the period of the house and well kitted with everything, including a mini-fridge and a mobile heater. Good internet! Very big bathroom, fitted with both shower and bathtub and with a generous selection of lotions and bath soaks. The breakfast had a good variety of food, a cold-buffet type, with a range of teas and coffees. All self-serving, just make-your-own.
