The private rooms are absolutely amazing. The hostel organized a special Iftar dinner (we visited during Ramadan) and they had various delicious food options at the rooftop. The rooftop was a great place to chill out and enjoy the stunning sunset after wondering around Petra. We could park our car in front of the hostel for free. Tip if you have a rental car: drive to the free parking spot near Petra instead of walking; it’s a quite steep walk down to the entrance.

Pro tip: Turn right on the main road after exiting the camp, and drive for 15-min up the mountains for an amazing sunset! Front desk, Muhammad was also amazing helping us with a punctured tire and even gifting my friend his spare cap for the sun - thank you!
