The lodge is very well equipped. Our room even had a refrigerator, and the shared space offered a microwave, oven, and electric kettle. While dining options in Hakuba Village can be limited in winter, having these free facilities made it easy to buy frozen food and heat it ourselves. Honestly, after skiing all day in strong winds and heavy snow, being able to eat something warm at the lodge was far better than any fancy meal. The ski drying room was also very convenient, and the staff kindly opened it early for us so we could catch the 7:00 AM early-morning skiing session. The lodge also sells discounted lift tickets (¥7,000 per day, limited quantity on a first-come, first-served basis), and they provide IC cards with on-site top-up, which saved us the trouble of buying tickets at the Goryu ski resort. In addition, they offer discounts at nearby rental shops — we used Winpy, which was conveniently located along the way. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Beautiful accommodation with excellent facilities. Plenty of space and very comfortable for bigger groups or families. Concierge team started a whatsapp chat group a day prior to check in and were responsive throughout our stay with any questions we had.

Very spacious, comfortable, clean and warm without hot air blowing directly at the head board which was very much apreciated. Facilities were great, spent our evening playing pool and connect4 in the communal area. The suits had a kitchen cooker & all utensils for cooking and cleaning for longer stays. Did our laundry there and it was easy and spacious in wash laundry room (2xwasher & 2xdryer with tablets provided). We had our lugguage sent there and arrived before we did. They had a huge long drying/boot room for ski equipment in the winter to store anything by reception. We left our bags there on arrival before check in time. The bus station is about a 5min walk down hill. Hakuba station a bus stop away (check timetable as they're not frequent) or walk 30mins. Will definitely visit here again.

Very close to ski, the hot bath, breakfast amazing. And most of all our host are very nice and always try to help. Highly recommend !

Thea room is in good size, the spring water is what i needed. The service is good. Club member seems to have free drinks at lobby, which is good.

I love the coziness of staying in a ryokan (: Host is a nice elderly Japanese lady who is conversational in basic English. She had been helpful and offering things like a free cookies that made my day. Had a pleasant stay and will stay here again if I ever come to Hakuba.

"It's a small family-run hotel. The rooms are spacious enough for 3 people, with futon bedding on tatami mats. It's not far from the bus terminal. The bathroom and toilet are shared but very clean. There's a hot and cold water dispenser on the 1st floor, and a dry room in the basement. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but it's advisable to book in advance. You can also have your luggage sent to the accommodation in advance with prior notice."
