The apartment is comfortable for family to stay with good facilities provided. The kitchen utensils were fully equipped and it was easy for us to prepare a meal. It was easy to contact and communicate with the owner and the person who give the keys.
I was satisfied with the view from the balcony. Waking up from the sofa bed with a view like that was fantastic.
It was supposed to be summer, however at night it was quite cold but the heater provided in all the rooms were helpful.
Definitely will stay here again.
Located 2 km from the Ostend-Bruges international airport, 300 metres from the tram stop, ibis budget Oostende Airport has a number of amenities, including a garden, a terrace and free WiFi.

I can just recommend this accomodation. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable, prepared, well equiped :). Instructions were understandable and clear. Location is very good, because 5 minutes by walk is bakery and also Carrefour, bus stop is also very closed approximately 3 minutes by walk. Beach is also close 15 minutes from accomodation by walk. We were very satisfied with everything. Thank you so much :)

We really enjoyed the sofa-bed as it had a real mattress (and was not as expected a typical pull-out sofa) and thus super comfortable! Also the kitchen was superb and had everything we needed to cook.

Middlekerke is a lovely seaside town with everything on your doorstep for a relaxing or adventurous vacation. The promenade takes you all along the coastline and bikes are avaiable to hire. The coast tram is exceptional value for money. There are many lifeguard stations along the coast giving the littleones a safe play in the sea. Lols of sovenier shops and everyday shops in easy walking, and lots to choose from for eating and drinking out, The beach bars are a really relaxing place to spend a couple of hours.,or try a flutter in the new casino. This is your seaside holiday with more.

Pretty boring city centre can be easily compensated by the nice and well maintained housing in the southern part of the city. The waterfront building are ugly compared to the rest of the city. NICE BEAUTIFUL BEACH with clear water is a real deal, nothing stops you from travelling between cities by the beach(there is a tram though)

You have everything you need to eat, to sleep, to life in a wonderful cosy apartment at a nice place in the city. Everything is clean and works. We missed not a television. Time to speak with each other. News is possible to follow with the free internet. A nice place to start from here to visit a lot of cities nearby with car or by train (from Torhout, Ostend or Bruges)... Ostend, Bruges, Sluis, Ghent, Brussel etc. Thank you very much to the owner An.

A typical Belgian seaside town, the beach was accessible through multiple bridges or tunnels, we walked through the dunes to go see the beach, there were a good amount of restaurants and cafe's, a lot of supermarkets so basically everything you need.

The town stretches along the coast with lovely beaches all the way along. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants all the way along but focused towards the centre as you'd expect. Sea front is dominated by apartment complexes with sea views. The coastal tram offers a great way to visit other towns or head towards trains for city travel if you want to leave the car behind. Definitely a weekend location with quiet week nights and a number of places shutting early unless you're in full peak season. Parking can be tricky as most places are pedestrianised other than first thing but there is a large multi storey car park for €9 a day

Perfect seaside place for people who prefer not so hot/...
Perfect seaside place for people who prefer not so hot/tropic summer weather. The beaches in Ostend are long, sandy and perfect for nice evening walks. As the sun sets late in summers (after 22:30), the days seem longer... Yet not long enough because there is so much to do and see!
The city is very lively, there is plenty of restaurants (and food stalls with seafood opened during the day at Visserskaai), shops and sightseeing possibilities.
It is easily reachable by train from Brussels and you could reach Bruges in 20min.
If you are into history, I recommend to visit the Atlantikwall museum (go there by the coastal tram, just a few stops from Ostend city centre), as well as Mercator and Amandine ships museums.
There is also Fort Napoleon, some war bunkers and a few art musems/places of interest but we didn´t have enough time to discover them all.
For animals lovers - there is a creek dedicated for seals.

I know Bredene very well since my family lives there.
I know Bredene very well since my family lives there. And of course, winter has a whole different vibe than summer. But Bredene is close to Ostend and so that is a nice outing if you want to be in a bigger city. And on the other side, there is Den Haan, also a very lovely and chique village. You can take long walk in the dunes or near the sea side in Bredene. People are friendly and kind. It is a nice place for normal people. If you want fancy and chique, you'd better go to Knokke. But for families, Bredene is just right. They even have a part of the beach where you sunbath naked.

Plenty of things to do, lots of shops, restaurants. Everything is given for a nice vacation, yet I don’t want to go back. The crowds there are not nice at all, many sleeping on the beach at night, nothing is done about it. Dog shit left behind, garbage left behind, way too crowded and not a nice crowd at all.

Not so touristic and so not over-crowded.
Not so touristic and so not over-crowded. Quiet and dog friendly beach. You can see the beach from the main street due to the dune. Therefore there is no boardwalk with view however nice little walking/biking paths. Few shops and restaurants. It was a nice place to go however for me it was missing the beach vibe that you find in other Belgium coast beaches.
