Undoubtedly the best hotel I ever stayed in. Not only the space is super beautiful and comfortable, but the staff makes you feel like you are right at home, carefully thinking about all the details. The breakfast is a very special moment, and it was, without a question, the best breakfast I've ever had. Also, my flight to go back home was very late in the evening and the staff let me stay at the hotel, using all the facilities (except the room of course) until the evening. I was even able to take a shower at the SPA.

Location was perfect. Close to the airport and entry for the Iguassu Falls plus the bird sanctuary.
The pool was much needed after our visit to the Falls and it was very clean.

Puerto Iguazu is a small and very easy to manage base for touring the area. Restaurant area is vibrant, good value, full of choice and contained in a small area. By comparison, Foz do Iguacu is a much larger and rather 'grey' place. Would recommend being based on the Argentinian side.

We didn't really get to experience Foz do Iguaçu itself because we spent both days exploring Iguazu National Park. The little we saw gave us the impression that there is much more to discover. If we had had more time, we would definitely have visited the Itaipu Dam and explored the city a bit more. We'll have to save that for our next trip.

Small city with everything,that you need on three day trip - restaurants, fast foods, shops, buses, Bold.
We was there to see Monday Falls, that was just 15 minutes from our accomodation. Visited Adventure Park and also the town. We stopped here on our way from Florianopolis to Asunción. The international buses and airport are very close from here (Ciudad del Este and Foz do Iguazu)

It is the launch pad to the water falls from Paraguary you enter first Brazil then Argentina for a day at Argentine side our least favourite
Then straight into Brazil less hassle at immigration and best sights of the falls

The city itself seems to have gotten stuck in the past. There is a Main Street with restaurants and shops which is Avenida Brasil and is somewhat nice. Other surrounding areas lack of infrastructure. There seem to be many luxury hotels which once inside their properties you should enjoy your time.

Fox do Iguazu was an amazing experience . We visited both sides of the falls and it’s impossible to state a preference as both sides are awesome .
The had an amazing Rodizio on one night at the Buffalo Branco which was outstanding . We stayed for three nights but I would have liked to have stayed at least one more night .

It's crowded but interesting.
It's crowded but interesting. Lots of folks from Argentina and Brazil come to buy at big discounts and take home. But as a tourist, Ciudad del Este (CDE) has some very worthwhile places to visit such as Tres Fronteras, Saltos de Monday, Itapua Damn and you are really close to the falls at Iguazu (certainly worth the drive!).

Hired Fernando from premier tours for a private tour. Wonderful decisions saw everything on our own time… even stopped for Brazilian coffee. Walked us back across the border to save time

I went to Foz do Iguazu specifically to see the Falls. They did not disappoint. Stunning…When you don’t live in a climate of high temps and humidity I found it a bit difficult to enjoy the outdoors. However I did go to the Buddhist Temple and a cultural event. The Temple is a peaceful area and quite beautiful except for the heartbreakingly sad stray dog I saw there. The little female was so thin I don’t know how she managed to walk. I would have thought with the Buddhist teaching of kindness and compassion to all living creatures they would take care of her. The peace I found when I first got there was lost on wanting to help this little one but couldn’t as I was leaving the next day
