Nice and calm place, close to the airport and at walking distance from the Cataratas and the Parque das Aves. Room was larger than we expected. Helpful staff and we loved the breakfast, it was excellent!! Bungalows are among lots of trees, very pleasant. Good value overall.

The pool and the waterslide, kids areas and playgrounds, clean rooms. Good value for the price and it met my expectations from the photos during booking. I was glad it did not cost so much to extend our stay a few hours until our evening flight. We also dropped luggage early the first day when we arrived early and it was no problem. We really enjoyed our stay here and will recommend it to friends.

The Only downside of Iguazú is the heat- we went at the end...
The Only downside of Iguazú is the heat- we went at the end of November and would have liked to have done more trails but the heat just drained our energy. This probably isn’t an issue for most guests but was a challenge for seniors and children. We also had issues with our Credit card not being accepted for the entrance- make sure to bring enough cash just in case

The Brazilian border city Foz seems a living, working city--geared some to tourism but not almost exclusively, unlike Puerto Iguazu in Argentina, the point closest to the falls on that side. (We stayed 4 nights near Foz, one in Puerto Iguazu, as we flew into Foz--a biggish airport--and out of Puerto Iguazu, smaller but very efficient and pleasant.)
We really enjoyed talking to local people in our time in Foz--and also really enjoyed our locally-guided tour of both sides of the falls by the STTFoz Turismo company: organization, transport, itinerary, and especially leadership by Adriano were all terrific.

Small city with everything,that you need on three day trip - restaurants, fast foods, shops, buses, Bold.
We was there to see Monday Falls, that was just 15 minutes from our accomodation. Visited Adventure Park and also the town. We stopped here on our way from Florianopolis to Asunción. The international buses and airport are very close from here (Ciudad del Este and Foz do Iguazu)

I didn’t like the fact that to purchase the tickets for “La Gran Aventura” they didn’t accept pay with Mercado Pago, they didn’t have QR or transfer options which was very inconvenient and weird since this is the main method of payment in the whole country. Even in the smallest stores and kiosks they have QR or transfer option to pay with pesos.
I ended up paying extra because I had to use my debit card and I got international charges. Also I had to call my bank to reactivate my card because the cashier passed my card twice and it got blocked.

We visited the Brazilian side of the Cataratas. We did the Camuco Safari and the walk to see the Cataratas on the Argentinian side. My partner visited the Parque dos Aves, which he absolutely loved and thought was well worth it!

It's crowded but interesting.
It's crowded but interesting. Lots of folks from Argentina and Brazil come to buy at big discounts and take home. But as a tourist, Ciudad del Este (CDE) has some very worthwhile places to visit such as Tres Fronteras, Saltos de Monday, Itapua Damn and you are really close to the falls at Iguazu (certainly worth the drive!).

The falls are magnificent.
The falls are magnificent. However, the National Park is ridiculously overcrowded and does not have the infrastructure to support the numbers. Very long queues for toilets, long waits for the train, and overcrowded walkways/boardwalks and viewing platforms. We were told sometimes there are double the crowd numbers we experienced - that would be hell! We met a number of people, who like us, found the ticket buying platform did not work, and then had to purchase at the gate.

Iguacu Falls National Park has the greatest, most majestic, most amazing, most awesome waterfalls in the world. 285 waterfalls over 1 kilometer along border between Brazil and Argentina. Highly recommend taking Macuco Boat Safari which takes you below waterfalls and walking full length of trail on Brazil side. Buy tickets for Macuco Boat Safari at park entrance after buying park tickets. Also highly recommend, on second day, seeing bird park (Parque de Aves) located near entrance to Iguacu Falls National Park, which has an wonderful collection of beautiful tropical birds and amazingly beautiful tropical plants and flowers.
