Hotel in Puerto Iguazú
Strategically located inside Iguazu National Park, Gran Meliá Iguazú features an infinity pool and spa facilities. Has 3 restaurant, and 4 Bars. The hotel is one of the best I ever visited. Though one of the most expensive too :) It's sure worth visiting. The breakfast is excellent and the dinner (though not included into the room price) is very good too. The outdoor pool provides splending views and allows to relax (this was important for us as we've visited this place after climbing Aconcagua).

Hotel in Puerto Iguazú
Set in Puerto Iguazú, located yards away from Three Borders Landmark and Featuring spa facilities, two swimming pools, Amerian Portal del Iguazu offers accommodations right in front of the Three... Breakfast was outstanding! Lots of sweet offers, good coffee, yoghurt, ham and cheese, all sort of bread flavours and textures, hot meals, greenery, fruit juices and fruit slices (many of them tropical, as the hotel setting would call for...), and on top of that, some local dishes (reviro, pao de queijo). All of these good eateries built up a fantastic start of each day, to profit from and to gratefully remember. The rest of the hotel met those expectations as well. A very good sleeping room (some of them even with an ecological design concept), a rooftop bar that allowed you into the fantastic view of three countries gathering precisely where two rivers met. The same great sight you can get if you tried to work out at the gym premises. Both, a heated and an open air swimming-pool, sports fields for those with sportive spirit... A plentiful lunch and dinner menu that allowed you to try international and local dishes, mixed up cleverly. It was the first time our trip party (friends and mate) were there, and fortunately we shared an awesome experience together at this hotel.

With 2 swimming pools, spa facilities a casino and luxurious décor, the hotel offers tennis courts, live shows and rooms with hydromassage tubs and free Wi-Fi. Private parking is also free. The beautiful pools were soo comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious, from the soaking tub, to the fixtures, separate bidet and toiletries. The breakfast buffet had many options for a variety of tastes, including eggs, fresh fruit, cheeses, and many breads. There was a gluten free table with lots of options there too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were a few outlets in the room that accepted North American chargers. Dinner was delicious as well. There’s not a lot in walking distance, but the hotel is right on the street that takes you to the Brazilian border. We walked it in about forty minutes. If we ever go back to Iguazú, I hope to stay at this hotel again.

Gran Meliá Iguazú, O2 Hotel Iguazu, and Iguazú Grand Resort Spa & Casino are some of the popular hotels in Puerto Iguazú.
I loved the Cataratas, is a beautiful and magic place! The warmth of the people was a game changer during our stay. If I need to point out one thing wasn't the best is Puerto Iguazu is a small town, so there's no much to do and now there's no opportunity to go to Foz do Iguacu in Brasil or Ciudad del Este in Paraguay.
The trips to the falls were both amazing but the more spectacular for me was the Argentinian side where you stand nearly over the falls. The infrastructure there was excellent and very well organised. Would definitely recommend the $145 10min ride of the falls. It was amazing. There is an ATM in both places and wifi too near the entrances. The bird park opposite is nice too with Macaws and Toucans as well as many other birds. There is also a semi precious stone mine which is fascinating. It is about 40mins away and called 'Wanda"
The waterfalls are breathtaking. Start on the Brazil side. The Argentinian park is much larger we walked 10 km that day. Be there when the park opens take the train to the end of the line at take the Devil's Throat trail first then the upper circuit then the lower circuit. We allowed ourselves 7 hours in the park including lunch The bird park on the Brazilian side is really worth a visit. Having a taxi driver that had been recommended by the hotel was really helpful with their local knowledge and time management skills.
Iguazú Falls are definitely a nature beauty of the world. It is truly stunning. I absolutely recommend it to any person who loves nature's wonders. The rivers boat trips are super fun for people with no kids (not allowed under age of 12).
1) The waterfalls was amazing! We traveled to the Brazilian side the next day, and I have to say that the Argentine side is far better than Brazilian side in term of waterfalls itself. 2) One or one and half day's trip will be enough. 3) The public transportation was mess. 4) Better service will be helpful. Can learn more from your neighbour.
Spectacular falls. Go to Argentine side first, needs five hours there, and Brazilian side for a separate half day. Don't waste money on an expensive tour. Just get bus or taxi there and pay at gate. You need your passport both sides.
Puerto Iguazú
I liked that I felt at home in a place that is almost nothing like what home actually looks like. The cabin is a perfect combination of rustic and modern comfort. The views/connection with nature are just about perfect. The owner himself meets you and makes you at check in and is extremely accommodating.
Location - Just across bus station. Hotel is very and spacious. The poolside had a tropical feel with the bar serving various cocktails. Rooms were very big compared to most hotels
Perfect view and location closed to bars
