Loved this hotel. Our friends from Buenos Aires described it as having a "jungle" vibe, which it did...and we loved it! It felt very much in the natural setting of Iguazu. We liked that it was relatively close to the airport, as well as other attractions in the area. The front desk was professional, the common areas and restaurants were beautiful. We saw a monkey in the morning! The dining options were great! Would definitely return. Our friends had a room with a hot tub on the deck; we had a triple in the main complex that had a huge soaking tub and a separate shower. Lots of room in the bathroom and the sleeping area.

- Breakfast!!!!! Amazing! Sooooooo much fresh fruit, sooooo many pastries, they had almond milk for people who can't have dairy (like me!), toast, etc. - Dinner: You can have dinner at the hotel as the hotel is a bit far from the city (about a 10 min taxi ride or a 30-40 min walk). The menu is okay, prices are reasonable, and the food was quite yummy. - Location: Next to many other hotels. There are a few small shops behind the hotel, where you can get like water, essentials etc. It's also near an animal sanctuary (not to be confused with the one in Brazil) and the House of Bottles (Casa de Botellas, MUST SEE!). The city, falls, airport are all taxi rides away! - Clean: The floor could have done with more hoovering but overall it was okay! A little bit noisy at night as cars can start beeping at like 5am.. I guess some people rush to get to the falls or cross the border, etc. - Staff: Really easy to organise tours. We had someone who drove us to the Argentina falls, picked us up, drove us into the city etc. Very easy to organise, reasonably priced, and very welcoming and friendly. - Facilities: We didn't use them as we stayed in July (Winter) but they have massages, spa, swimming pool etc.

Tupa Lodge, Hotel Tré Iguazú, and Village Cataratas got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Puerto Iguazú.
Located 18 km from the Iguazú Falls UNESCO World Heritage Site, Puerto Iguazú is an Argentinean town situated near the Brazilian border, in the Province of Misiones. Its compact city centre is packed with restaurants, cafés and shops, while the area is well-known for its red soil and lush vegetation.
The stunning falls comprise 275 individual falls spread over 3 km between Argentina and Brazil. They have a maximum height of 80 metres and a water flow that can be three times superior to that of the Niagara Falls.
The Guaraní natives named the falls ‘iguazú’, meaning ‘big water’. The national park was founded in 1907, and some of the best hotels in Puerto Iguazú are located in the road linking the city centre to the falls. Some hotels on the Argentinean side of the waterfalls offer beautiful views.
The local bus station offers links to several long-distance destinations, including Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. The city is served by Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport, while the Brazilian Foz do Iguaçu International Airport is 16 km away.
Whether you need a backpacker hostel, a hotel near the airport, or a 5-star resort, don’t miss the Puerto Iguazú deals available on Booking.com!
Make sure you see the falls from both sides, the Argentine and the Brazilian one. Best booking a taxi to drive you from one place to the other, airport/hotel/parks etc. If more than one person, it is well worth it and you won't be wasting time.
This was the PERFECT way to see the Argentine of the falls! Our guide, Ariel, was an absolute delight. He provided fun, interesting, scientific, historical, and cultural information throughout the tour and has a perfect personality and energy for hosting such tours. We got to skip the train line and having Ariel truly made our experience what it was. A guide for the Argentine side is a must—if within your budget. That said, when you add up the individual costs of transportation to and from the park, the train fee (you will want this, otherwise you're walking a looooong way just to get to the entrance of the path to the falls), the boat/jungle truck experience, AND an experienced guide who takes you on the proper paths and knows everything, it ends up being more economic to book this tour! Try to go to the Brazilian side, as well. The view of the Argentine falls is just spectacular. Ariel mentioned he was giving a tour of the Brazilian side the day after we visited the Argentine side but assured me I could navigate the Brazilian side without a guide (there is only one path). If you're lucky, you'll have Ariel as a guide!
This is an amazing place that everyone must visit at least once in their life. Take long walks through the National Park is truly relaxing and allows you to be closer with the nature. Although, people should be aware that we do not have to disturb animals because they lived there before we arrived and they will live there after we left. So, take photos and see them but do not give them food and/or disturb.
One does not come here for the city but for the waterfalls. Puerto Iguazu provides a good base for visiting the falls and the other two of the "three cities" which I would also call interesting, but far from beautiful. There are some good restaurants and one can have a pleasant walk along the river, but that's it.
I was skeptical that I needed to see both sides at first so I only allocated 2 days to the journey - one day for Brazil and another for Argentina... I was about 1.5 days short! If you want to travel at a moderate pace and not rush through instagram-worth sights, the countries all have incredible things to offer. Paraguayan side offers artistic city markets, and each side of Iguazu does deserve their own day. If you have spare time, pick a corner of where 3 countries come together, Argentina and Brizil's corners both have nice monuments to mark the spot.
The falls are just stunning. The view from the Brazilian side is much better, although, seeing the falls from the top on the Argentinian side was unique. We didn't spend much time on the trails on the Argentinian side, wish we could have explored more. We had an additional half day, but we decided to enjoy our beautiful hotel and pool rather than play tourist in the extreme heat. We did not go into town. FYI, crossing the border took 30-45 minutes in a taxi. We'd read this was the "fast" way to cross the border!!! Probably should have crossed earlier.
A buffet breakfast was included with a wide variety of choices at a pre-booked time each day so it was never overcrowded. I ate supper at the restaurant which was very busy. The staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous to deal with. The location is fabulous surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars and a walking distance to most locations. There is a great pool area although I didn't get a chance to swim as I had little time to use the amenities.
Puerto Iguazú
Amazing stay! Federico and his wife were so helpful, in every way. They were so friendly and even helped us exchange money. We had little time in Iguazu so Federico picked us up from the airport, took us to/from the Falls and then drove us across the border to our hotel in Brazil, all for a very good price. The room was comfortable, very clean, breakfast was good and we would definitely stay here again!
Average breakfast. Good if you want to start your day early for hiking or whatever other plan you may have in Iguazú. We tried the spa after a long hiking day around the waterfalls. It was good. Didn´t have enough time to try a massage. It´s a block away from the main street with restaurants and bars. There is a TAXI joint at the right corner of the street where the hotel is.
Puerto Iguazú
I've stayed here with my family and liked it very much. It is a nice place to stay while you're visiting the Iguazu Falls. Rooms are big and it is quiet during the night. Staff is friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and bar are also very nice and prices are cheap. You also get to meet a lot of friendly people but this usually happens in Argentina :)
Puerto Iguazú
Amazing view! Balcony view directly overlooking the river- Paraguay is on the other side of the river. You can also see a bridge that connects Brazil to Paraguay. House is beautiful- it's more like a boutique hotel with a lovely family that own it. Very comfortable beds- everything is brand new. Gorgeous place.
The owner was nice and helpful. She gave us information on what to do and how to get around. The next day she let us leave our luggage while we went to the falls (the bus stops 5 minutes from the hotel) and stay there while we waited from our transfer to the airport.
Puerto Iguazú
A cozy place conveniently located near the bus station and the city. Nice little pool to relax after a hot day at the waterfalls. The AC in the cabin was great. Adriana, Pablo and the others are very hospitable. I highly recommend this accommodation.
The property was nice, but I paid a really high price, the bathroom is not that great, also breakfast was not nice either, for how much this hotel charges, everything was supposed to be extremely nice.
Puerto Iguazú
Enjoyed the ‘remote’ feeling of the property with your own lodge on the edge of the national park - while in between the entrance to the Argentina side of Iguazu Falls and the town of Puerto Iguazu.
Room size were big enough, hotel have a tie up with another restaurant for breakfast. It's located in the prime location and.nearby all the good restaurants.
Puerto Iguazú
Everything was wonderful. Host was very helpful amd informative. I would stay here again if I had returned to Puerto Iguazú. Best was firm but comfortable.
The hotel is centrally located close to the main bus station which is very good considering that puerto iguazu has no uber or cabify.
Staff was really great! Great breakfast. Nice bar area! They have taxis there at the hotel that were great also. 10 stars for sure!
Great location.. Staff were not friendly and not suitable for a 5 Stars hotel . Slow check in and service.
Really nice breakfast and comfortable beds. The hotel offers a bbq in the evenings, the food was amazing
Exelent locationn, very profesional and welcoming staff, nice hotel pool, relaxsing area.
Nice staff, excellent location for visiting Argentina anf Brazil side of the waterfalls.
incredible hotel with amazing views of the falls from our room
