The real charm of the place is that it is in a forest full of monkeys and other animals and really close to the river!! The location is excellent because unlike the noisy Santa Teresa and Monteza Zuma, here are the only gas station and supermarket in the whole area and other necessary things, but you are completely in the forest and it is not noticeable. The house is about a 10-15 minute drive to any destination you choose in the area. The house itself is very spacious and clean, I didn't need more than that. Our host Liz was very friendly and helped us with everything. We will be back!

This room was for a friend visiting from the states who wanted air conditioning, which worked very well. The room was cozy and comfortable. Had great wifi, which he used to make calls home. Great forest views from the balcony or the seating area near the stairs, also with wifi. Howler monkeys in the trees right off the balcony. He didn’t use the pool, but it looked great for a dip and a place to catch some sun. The hotel is family run with friendly helpful staff.

The Los Caballos is located a bit outside of the busy Montezuma. There is no traffic noise audible, and believe it or not, they have perfect road signs leading you to the place which is quite unusual in Costa Rica. After staying in Montezuma several times I would highly recommend this lovely place!
