The beach and the underwater coral reef there are absolutely beautiful - this is the main attraction, for sure. Diving there was amazing.
I hadn't been to Sinai in over twenty years so I'd kind of forgotten what it's like. The biggest issues were the heat and the water - you can't drink the water in Egypt if you're not Egyptian, so you have to buy bottled water all day long and it's actually not that cheap, at least at the hotels. Other than the beaches and the hotels, there didn't seem to be a lot to see there - I guess you could take tours but we didn't. It's not really a "town" per say, it's more like a string of hotels, resorts, etc. But it's beautiful on the beach and the hotel we stayed at (Nielson Village) was very nice in terms of the view, the service, the room and so on.

Loved being in Eilat, especially while Tel Aviv was cold and...
Loved being in Eilat, especially while Tel Aviv was cold and rainy. We loved snorkeling at Coral Beach and hanging out/ enjoying lunch at Dolphin Beach. We had a blast at The Camel Ranch riding camels and enjoying the ropes course. Eilat itself had so much to offer and we wish we were there for longer. Can't wait to return in warmer months and to spend lots more time there!

The hotel looks impressive from the outside, the rooms are large, the balcony is relatively large, the cleanliness is average, the facilities in the room are outdated, the food in the hotel is not varied enough and there is a crazy fly problem in the place.

A laid back but very active city (beaches) for a break from the cities such as Jerusalem and Tel Aviv... Weather, amazing with moderate temperatures in December (when I went, twice now).....
Another thing is it a duty free city so the best place to shop in Israel!!

Nothing much to do un Taba,but it's very comfortable for families with kids and,the fact that you can walk from and to the border from the,hotel - is,amazing. We ate,most of the time at the,hotel but once we went to a nice restaurant on the beach and another day we took a taxi to Dahab
