Hotels near Calvi – Sainte-Catherine Airport - CLY, Calvi

Loved it ! City centre is well preserved with paved streets and stairs allowing you to move around easily and reach the Port where there are plenty of bars and restaurant with a stunning view over the sea and the mountains. Beaches are 5 mns walk from the port. Calvi has managed to keep its authenticity throughout the years and is a perfect location for a long week-end escape !

Interesting and charming city to spend a pleasant week or so. Smart little harbour with plenty of different types of restaurants. Beautiful beaches with bars and restaurants. International airport within easy reach, but taxi fare very expensive.

We were in Calvi outside of the holiday season and a most of the sea/beach/tourist orientated facilities were closed. It was great. Instead you have a pleasant quiet town in a beautiful location, great for beach, coast and hill walks but with sufficient shops and restaurants open to live comfortably.

June was a good month to visit as not too busy and excellent weather. Calvi is terrible for vegan options and the restaurants are pricey. There are very few options for lower priced meals. We were also shocked at the cost for taxis

I feel like the locals, esp restaurants and coffee places in the Main Street live off of tourism, but hate the tourists for all the chaos they bring to the place. The atmosphere is not nice. Also, it’s too crowded for my taste, but most of the world is like this now.

Calvi is absolutely incredible, beautiful views sea and mountains together crystal waters, great food, people so helpful would definitely go back. So far in Corsica we have been to bastia, sant florent and calvi and calvi is our favourite.out of the three. However all of corsica so far has been amazing. /the roads are fantastic and views incredible.
