Property was beautiful, very nicely decorated and plenty of room for our family of 4 and dog. Host was very quick to reply to messages and all information needed was available at property. Very clean, had everything we needed. Well located. Hot tub easy to operate. Plenty of towels, laundry bins, toilet roll, bedding etc. kitchen was well equipped. Coffee machines in bedrooms & kitchen. Kids liked the nice touch of chocolates left for us. Garden private and enclosed.

Kempsford is a quiet village.
Kempsford is a quiet village. There is a church and a pub. The pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. New houses are being built on the edge of the village. A lot of cars left the village in the mornings, so a lot of people live, but don't work there. Swindon and Cirencester are easy to reach. The countryside around Kempsford is beautiful.

Lots of things to do in the area, we particularly liked the Cotswold Sculpture park and Kelmscot Manor. Restaurants in Cricklade were good. The village is nice to walk around with a small post office / shop a few yards away. The outside of the house was still being done up but the inside was nice and comfortable. To get to the parking you had to drive onto the building site at the back but this was not a problem.

Marston Meysey is a lovely old style village in a very attractive country location. It is close to some beautiful places to visit such as Bibury, Arlington Row, Lechlade and is very close to Fairford Airbase. For shopping purposes you have Cirencester and Swindon within about 30 minutes drive. You need your own transport to get the best of this lovely area.

We were moved from the room we booked due to a water leak.
We were moved from the room we booked due to a water leak. The room we were moved too was lovely with a huge bathroom to include a double shower and roll top bath. The staff were all very pleasant and happy to help. Breakfast was included in our booking and was very nice. We booked a table for our evening meal which again was a lovely position and the food was very nice although we couldn’t manage a pudding. A beautiful character property.

A small town but full of character. St Mary’s church is wonderful with such a helpful church steward who was so informative. I would have used Fairford as a base to discover other towns and places of interest in the area. We ate at the Bull Inn and at a local coffee shop, Lynwoods

Comfortable bed.
Comfortable bed. nice size rooms. good beer, friendly staff. freshly cooked breakfasts.Easy parking. What's not to like? Also Fairford is a nice little town the Church is well worth a visit very old with wonderful stained glass windows and lots of history. It all made for an enjoyable stay at the Bull.
