I would pay extra for good big cappucino and an omelette for sure :) Thanks also to the night manager, pleasant guy.

Batumi is a nice city by the sea. For those who love to spend time on the beach and casino must visit this city. The city is vibrant and lively. If you do not want to eat at the Alphabet Tower restaurant then avoid visiting it. Its not worth it.

Batumi is a lush city with lots of choices in shopping and food. We visited the Batumi Botanical Garden, which is really spread out and beautiful. I loved that we could see the Black Sea from different areas in the garden. Randez Vous had really good food and we were served by a lovely waitress. I went back and a much younger waitress clearly did not seem interested in serving me, so I left. Dona's bakery has really good desserts, wonderful staff, and if I had to buy a cake for a special occasion, no doubt, I would buy it there. The Batumi Boulevard is just lush and gorgeous and peaceful.

The people or residents of Batumi are very different from those in other parts of Georgia, such as Tbilisi. They're a lot more friendly and approachable. Yes, you may think it's just a job for them, but a little smile or nice words won't cost you anything, unlike the people of Tbilisi. This is my observation on my 2nd trip. If you give me a choice on a staycation, I'll choose outside Tbilisi, and that will be BATUMI !!!
