Quite and packed with nature. Not much other than that honestly if you don't know anybody there, but you can find a beautiful church (St. Barbare), a supermarket (Konzum), and the small city/village is fairly close to Zagreb. Take bus 268 and you're there at the main station in 30 mins!

Stay in this town only if you need to be close to the airport for a very early morning flight. There is a bus 290 which takes you from Zagreb airport to Trg Krestnova which is centrally located in zagreb. Takes 30 minutes and costs 93 cents. Much better option to stay in Zagreb than Velika Gorica, where there is almost nothing to do.

I truly appreciate the warmth and coziness of the room; it felt inviting as soon as we walked in. The cleanliness of the apartment is crucial for me, and I’m delighted to see how well-maintained it is. It’s evident that the owners have poured a lot of care and attention into this space. Their responsiveness to my questions has been outstanding. We definitely plan to return when flying to or from Zagreb. My family members who accompanied me on this trip were equally impressed, and we will certainly recommend this lovely place to our friends and family.

Close to the airport was a deciding factor for me. The lack of hot water didnt bother me much (it did my partner) as I just wanted a bed for the night and quick transfer to the airport. Staff was helpful thou

Perfect for a solo traveller or couple needing an airport overnight stay in Zagreb. I liked how the host picked me up and dropped me off at the airport for a reasonable additional cost. He was friendly and pointed out where I could buy necessities and a good quality local bistro, both about 2 minutes walk away. The room and en suite were clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a small fridge, decent WiFi and an electric jug, with cup, saucer, teaspoon and glass, plus a sachet of 3-in-1 instant coffee (1 person, 1 night ). A small grassed garden out back. Although there was no air con, a large, quiet but effective standing fan is provided. The room also had blinds and windows that could securely let in fresh air while keeping out direct sunlight and most flying insects (none came inside). The village is very quiet and safe to walk around. I had a great sleep and a good, reasonably priced meal at the bistro. There was a powerful-looking heater but at this time of year I was more concerned about keeping the room cool. It is smoke free and was well aired when I walked in. Closeness to the airport without airport noise or fumes is very handy. The one negative was I found the room key a very simple shape, but still a bit tricky to lock from the inside. The ensuite bathroom door is hard to fully close, but it closes almost completely so is ok for privacy between a couple. I could perhaps have shut it completely, but I didn't want to force it, especially as I was staying alone and didn't need to lock it.

the room is very nice but in the pictures they don't show all the humidity that is on the walls of the room that is hidden behind the curtains... it is a waste of money to pay to breathe humidity while you are in the room... the host was very disrespectful to me, because according to him I stole the hair dryer from the room simply because he didn't see it in the same place it was. Please make sure before calling a person a thief whether it is true or not. I am still waiting for an apology. Ridiculous
