Offering a terrace, Avatar Homestay features accommodations in Labuan Bajo. I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were well maintained. The room was spacious and clean, with a super comfortable bed and even a smart TV where I could easily watch Netflix and other apps. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

Bertus GuestHouse offers accommodations in Labuan Bajo, 1.3 miles from Wae Rana Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi. The accommodation is non-smoking. The host was friendly and helpful. We were basically only there to sleep at the head and tail ends of our 3d2n cruise in Komodo and to hold any of our luggage while we went on the cruise. It's a short walk across the airport, although down a rough gravel road, then an alley.

Featuring a garden, Pieter homestay provides accommodations in Labuan Bajo. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Pieter and his family are lovely. Pieter bends over backwards to help with whatever he can. Booking a Komodo trip, organising a hire bike, local tours, and in my case helping me retrieve my broken down motorcycle and looking after it while I went away to get parts and sort my Visa. Since February, I have stayed probably 15 nights over 4 visits. For the price, it is such good value. The only downside is no hot water, but I'm sure that will change soon. Whilst it is only a couple of hundred metres from the airport, a transfer can be organised. There is a little shop accros the road, and great food at the bottom of the street. If your too lazy to go out, Pieter can even sort out food for you. Lasty if you're a plane need, the view over the airport is amazing. 🙂

Labuan surprised me! such a mix of budget travel hotels and maximum luxury same with restaurants ! truly everybody can find something fir their taste and budget! a hustling little harbour city with a multi cultural population! amazing trips to smaller islands and beaches a must !! Scuba and Diving absolutely fantastic! A beautiful island if not for the scattered rubbish! What an eyesore so do sad to see indeed !! Still absolutely worth a visit.
Labuan Bajo is a vibrant an interesting place. The first time you see the harbour from the hill it makes you laugh with pleasure. People remain very friendly and helpful and although dive shops abound (and other tourist package offerings), you don't feel hassled at all. Further afield in Flores is very interesting if you like exploring, drinking coffee and talking to people - spectacular scenery. If you are more of a Bali Beachside holidayer, don't spend too long - probably 3 days is enough If you like culture and wandering, or just doing lots of dives/ boat rides and snorkelling, you could spend weeks.
This town has all the facilities that tourists need, but the people are still friendly and generous. The place is void of ripoffs like Bali and other overtouristed places. Get on a boat and explore the beautiful places near by.l
Great town with nice boat trip options for world class snorkeling and diving. Really nice choice of tours, hotels and restaurants found in town. Not as busy as Bali and more friendly people. Inland tours have very bad roads as it is windy and volcanic, so be prepared for a very time consuming inland tours.
The set of islands and Komodo National Park off of Labuan Bajo have stunning marine life; ideal for snorkeling, scuba-diving and hiking. It's definitely worth exploring these remote island via multi-day boat trip. Look for decent boat sleeping arrangement, and guides that has extensive experience of the area to spot manta ray, turtles, dolphins and other sea creatures.
It was a stopover for our tour of the Komodo Islands. Looks like there was great seafood in restaurants which we would have liked to try, but too late to make reservations. If we return we will choose a location closer to town so we can explore what it has to offer.
This place is absolutely incredible. I almost don't want to write a review because it's so magical that I want to keep it a secret. This was one of the best views we had in all of LBJ. The staff made it easy to rent a scooter from here and the ride into town was less that 10 mins. AMAZING! The small pool is perfect for chilling and I love the two story bungalows. Just incredible! One of my favorite places in all of Indonesia.
There's a shuttle from the airport to hotel which is super convenient! The food at the hotel restaurant is so good and affordable & pair it with the view, insane!!! my room was so spacious and the heater works totally fine. It's a bit far from the centre but LBJ is small, rent a scooter and you will be in the centre in 6 mins. The sunset from my balcony remained one of the best memories I ever had.
Hotel is nicely appointed with hot water, AC, decent breakfast, and comfortable room. Location is central and walkable to center. Only downside is poor sound proofing, and situated close to mosque (realistically, anywhere in central LBJ is not immune from the excessively loud morning prayers). Bring earplugs. Tap water is sweet because tap water at Komodo Suites is brackish.
Labuan Bajo
Clean, beds were comfy, staff is so nice and incredibly helpful. The hostel is so close to all good shops and food in town. Would recommend for visiting LBJ!
