Built in 1793, Carrygerry is a charming country house on Ireland’s scenic County Clare Coast. Loved this Manor type country house. Really quite an amazing surprise. I only booked as a sleep over on the way to Shannon. What a surprise to see it was a very professionally managed establishment. There was a bar and restaurant albeit we were not hungry. The room had a four poster bed. It was so traditional but not contrived like the touristy castles. We slept so well in a fab comfortable bed. The room was very big. Table and chairs, walk in wardrobe/ dressing room. It is a fine country house from a bygone Anglo Irish day. It was Christmas week and there was a display of country Christmas hampers for sale with local produce in the lobby. Very reasonably priced compared to the rubbish in the big shops in Dublin. No pressure to sell either. I would certainly stay again and hopefully have time for breakfast next time. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff.

Nicely decorated and clean place, close to the airport (we walked from there). A lot of amneties and quite a few things for breakfast (home-made scones, jam, butter, milk, cereals). The communication with the host was very efficient and we had a lot of privacy. Everything was fine, highly recommended!

Treacys Oakwood Hotel, Shannon is located in the heart of Shannon’s town center, next to the Skycourt shopping center and only 3.2 mi drive from the Shannon Airport. Fantastic decor, really comfy and spacious rooms and very helpful staff. The bar and restaurant is very nicely decorated in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Proximity to Shannon airport is a plus. Overall a great resting spot.

Shannon Castle Holiday Cottages Type C by Trident Holiday Homes offers accommodations in Ballysteen, 17 miles from The Hunt Museum and 17 miles from St. Mary's Cathedral. A gorgeous location, so quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the castle and out over the water. The hosts were so kind and friendly, it really felt like home from home. We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our new house to be ready and the property provided everything we could possibly have needed.

Cosy Room is located in Shannon, just 8.4 miles from Dromoland Castle and 12 miles from Thomond Park. Few minutes away from the airport. The place was very clean and comfortable. Parking area an added bonus.

Very friendly fast efficient check in with simple room directions. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. ,217 in my stay. Nice fresh comfortable bed with more than enough pillows lol 😉. Breakfast was buffet with plenty choice. I don't drink alcohol but the bar was lively and buzzing. This hotel has cracked how to offer quality efficient friendly value service. Thanks all.

Bunratty Meadows Bed & Breakfast offers accommodations in Bunratty, 1.9 miles from Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and 9.1 miles from Dromoland Golf Course. Very homey. Amazing breakfast. Could see the cows and ocean from the window. Perfect location for our travel plans.
