We had a great time at the guesthouse Lyndhoft. The room was specious and the bathrooms were modern. We were even able to wash our clothes as the owner let us use her washing machine and dryer in the basement! Everything was great. We recommend the guesthouse Lyndhoft!

We were moved to the Thorshamar House instead of the Cave Apartment (unknown circumstances).
The house was so cosy and beautiful. We loved our stay. It felt so homely. Bed was very comfortable. House was clean. Bonus that there's a washer and a dryer in the bathroom.
Our host Karen was so lovely and spoilt us with all the food she brought. She is very quick to respond to my queries.
Wifi connection - excellent!
Such a shame we were only there for 1 night.

What a cute little cottage on the ocean! We stayed for one night during our trip around Iceland and have found this to be one of our favorite stays so far. Easy check-in and check-out process, quiet private cabin, cooking amenities included.

There is only one restaurant, and then the N1 had food.
There is only one restaurant, and then the N1 had food. We googled and went to the restaurant, but it was closed unlike what was on Google. However, the N1 food was surprisingly very good! We were there during the dark, so we really can’t speak to the scenery; however, I’m sure it was great!

Nice little fishing town in the north east of Iceland. Þórshöfn is really easy to walk around, it's small but they have grocery store, gas station and liquor store - basically everything you need. We had a dinner at Báran restaurant by the dock and it was excellent! Fish n chips was great!
