Located within 21 miles of Nippon Gaishi Hall and 23 miles of Aeon Mall Atsuta, Toyoko Inn Chubu International Airport No1 has rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tokoname. They had a shuttle bus from the hotel but it only took us around the airport to the hotel which is great if you are staying just one night but we found out there was a different shuttle bus called "Tokonyan" and that will take you to Aeon for free and pick up is just behind the hotel. Though Toyoko-inn is known for a business hotel among the country, it was fairly comfortable and great Japanese breakfast, the price point is unbeatable.

One of Japan's six ancient kiln towns. If you are into ceramics it's a brilliant place to visit. If you're not, it's a lovely, relaxed town with nice walks and good places to eat. Very close to Nagoya airport. There is a free shuttle bus into Tokoname or use the station. Home of the lucky waving cat - Maneki Neko!

Many sightseeing attractions, like pottery walking path. Aeon shopping mall has shopping, restaurants, food court. Outside the mall were go-cart rides and kids activities center. Other attractions were boat racing and Costco Wholesale store next to Aeon mall. Some bus rides were free. Tokoname is also close to the International Airport.
